Baking Soda for Headache (Sick).

“Bicarbonate of Sodium” (Baking Soda)… “is largely used as an antacid in gastric fermentation and in sick headaches arising from this condition.” Dissolve one teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda in a glass of cold water and drink.
Note: A "sick headache" is a term for a headache accompanied by nausea and vomiting, often used as a nontechnical name for a bad migraine. While it can be a general term, it's most commonly associated with severe, throbbing headaches that may include other symptoms like sensitivity to light and sound, and sometimes vomiting.
