Sea Salt for Chronic Cough

This is what I read 3 weeks ago and I did it and my cough stopped within maybe 10-15 minutes and I didn't have to try to cough it up. I carried on with the salt water for a good week or so and I was feeling pretty good I stop now for two weeks or so. I still have a little bit of a cough and clearing my throat. Never had this before it's all brand new in the past 3 weeks. But the saltwater turned all of the phlegm that I was spitting up from green to clear. And I didn't have to try to cough it up it reduced to only a minimal bit of phlegm not something I had to cough up from too far low in my lungs. Making it very hard to even try and wondering if I'll drown to death when I do it. The saltwater was amazing did it work for you I see that your post is in 2011.

I hope it's okay to put emails in here cuz I would love to know this answer and I don't know if I can ever get back to this exact thread even though I've been here before but I don't know that it's the same thread. And here's the post I learned the information from

Hi Phyllis, I have used this remedy many times with great success. I use 1/2 teaspoon of Sea Salt and add to 1 cup (250ml ) of warm water, I make it warm enough to dissolve the crystals and not to hot to drink when crystals are dissolved, I stir up the crystal with a spoon to dissolve if I am in a hurry.
A word of warning, do not drink it straight down all at once as you will vomit, sip slowly over 5 to 10 min, I usually notice within 1 hour it has dried up most of the phlegm and I will take it up too 3 times a day if I have bronchitis, I usually take it between meals as it seems to work better rather than with meals.

Would love to know if you found a cure. And would love to know your results with the saltwater. I would say for anything uncurable I drink coconut oil I would drink coconut oil one tablespoon every 8 hours for 4 days it kills viruses bacteria and fungus. Cured me of mono me and not the other 35 posters at Earth Clinic I was so thankful. I took it to my customer that had covid and he was okay within a day and a quarter and call me back saying he feels great and he was so thankful and he drank the coconut oil.
