Fatty Liver Supplements - Questions for Art

Hi Art,

Thanks for the information about Astaxanthin.

After about a year of taking Nattokinase of 12,000FU (divided in3x4000FU/day), I was very surprised to see few days ago my liver enzymes to get very high, as well as the total cholesterol to jump from 250 to 307 in 9 months (with no changes in a vegetarian diet with milk).

Now I do not know where to go from here. I wonder - may be 3 times per day is bad idea. what if I take 12 000 at once and so on... Any word is appreciated!

Hi Koys,

Apparently nattokinase does not agree with you and you should stop using it since your results are the opposite of what the study results showed and the results that I have gotten.

One thing that is different from what I did is that you took your dose in three divided doses whereas I take my 12, 000 FUs in one dose and always on an empty stomach, such as when I wake up.

Another option that I have found effective for lowering cholesterol is lecithin granules at 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons per day. I use a 4 oz glass of water, dump the granules in the water and without stirring, drink it right down. Here is a link to typical products :
