Ivermectin Side Effects

Has anyone taken ivermectin in any form and had side effects? I have a friend who took the paste on Saturday and has had joint pain pretty bad since then. She also started taking borax the same day, could either of these cause it? And how long do you think it will last for either? Per my research, both should clear your system by day 3, although the borax could be herx reaction and she'd have to stop taking it. Thanks

What an hilarious list of "possible" and "rare" side effects!! A shill for Big Harma is I've ever seen one here! It was like I was seeing a Big Harma commercial. Ivermectin inventors won a Nobel Prize and it is even on the WHO (a corrupt organization), List of Essential Medicines; even they can't and don't cut it down like that. Also, I have taken WAY more than 3mg/day with zero problems. My goodness, why this was posted I will never know. Ivermectin is amazing and is great for many things. Please do your own research and disregard the possible-side-effect list. You are your own best advocate regarding your health, remember that.

Hi Katzie,

I'm going to disagree with what you posted regarding side effects related to drug use. You said the following :

' You are your own best advocate regarding your health, remember that.'

What you didn't say, but should have, is that you are your best advocate, "when you are informed". If you don't have the needed knowledge, how can you possibly be your best advocate. Part of that needed knowledge is knowing at least the most common side effects of the drug that you are considering taking.

How are you going to be your best advocate for yourself if you are uninformed about potential side effects for a drug that you are considering using?

You said the following :

' Please do your own research and disregard the possible-side-effect list. '

Disregarding the side effect list for any drug you are considering, is in my opinion, very bad advice and is the exact opposite of doing your own research!

Using Ivermectin as the example, look at the four most common side effects that they listed :

  • difficulty in moving
  • muscle pain or stiffness
  • pain in the joints
  • swollen, painful, or tender lymph glands in the armpit

If you ignore this list of the four most common side effects and then you get any of these symptoms, you won't know why. Worse yet, if you get the symptoms of number three and you happen to have arthritis, gout, an autoimmune disease or Lupus (SLE) as basic examples, you will likely think you are having an exacerbation of whichever disease you happen to have and may think you need to increase the amount of drugs you are taking for those diseases, which could actually worsen things for you all the way around. Had you read the potential side effects, you would be prepared for those potential side effects and could simply withdraw the Ivermectin for a few days to see if the side effects go away, but without actually doing the full research on potential side effects for Ivermectin you put yourself in a position where you could actually cause more problems if you think that some other disease is the problem.

I know you said you never had side effects from Ivermectin and that is great for you, but the way manufacturers build these side effects lists is via reports from patients who have used the drug in question. So clearly, some people do have negative adverse reactions to Ivermectin, despite how safe you claim it is. It is good that you told people to do their own research, but in the same sentence you followed that up with, 'and disregard the possible-side-effect list.'

It isn't always possible, but it is a good and healthful practice to at least be aware of the most common side effects of drugs you are taking when starting them. To tell people to disregard the potential side effects of a drug they are about to start, Imo, is not only bad advice that could cause people real and potentially serious health problems and side effects, but dangerous!

Well Art, I personally believe that we, all of us, are the world's foremost experts on our bodies and how we feel. It also to remind people that we should speak up for ourselves. How many posters here have said that their Dr's ignored their concerns or overrode then. So who else would speak up for them in this situation. So it was directed at people who are more timid than certainly you are and would say nothing, including "no", and "listen to me". I do not believe that alot of people would or can say "no" to someone in a lab coat. As for disregarding the side-effect list, ALL of those supposed reactions could be said of taking too much of ANYTHING, including water, and especially all of big harma's petro-chemical based drugs. My post was also to extol people to do their own research, aka reading. Their health is worth it. And that is all I have yo say. Have a great day.

Ivermectin works because it kills off the parasites in your body…..which everyone has. The parasites get across the blood brain barrier and stops your body from healing itself. Once the parasites have been killed your body goes into healing mode and heals whatever ailment or disease you have. However you can go through what’s called “herxing” which is the parasite die off, like anything, when dying they will fight against it which in turn will cause a detox effect and things might get worse before they get better. It will be different for everyone depending on how severe your issue is or how long you’ve had it. It can affect some people mildly, full on, or even nothing at all. It can go on for a couple of minutes to a couple of weeks on and off. The symptoms can be headaches, skin rashes, diarrhoea, nausea, pain etc. but once you’re through it, you start to heal and the issue will be gone. You cannot overdoes on ivermectin…..it is a natural substance, grown in grass, that is why dogs and cats eat it when they’re feeling sick. Don’t take it in tablet form, the most natural is the horse paste which you can get from pet stores.

You can take Activated Charcoal with lots of water to bind the toxins and parasites and pass without Herx. You have to take about 8-12 caps but it works

IV is The BEST cure! "They" don't want us to know all of the health issues IV can cure...cannot make the big $ something that is naturally occurring. As, it cannot be patented.
