From my reading over the past few months, it seems that Vitamin C is the foundation of supplemental treatments for heart and arterial issues. Issues which all stem from Vitamin C deficiency or Scurvy. Clots form in the arteries due to the poor health of the arteries themselves. Lecithin, enzymes are very effective supplements in removing clots, however, without restoring the underlying health of the arteries with Vitamin C, results may be disappointing. Additionally, it seems that Vitamin C is limited in its ability to reach the arterial tissue beneath active clotting, so although Vitamin C may have great benefit, it may not solve the existing clotting, and resultant decreased blood circulation and symptoms.
