Frankincense Essential Oil for Plantar Fibroma

5 out of 5 stars

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a tender spot on the bottom of my foot - in the arch. There were no signs of trauma to my foot, but I could feel a lump in the muscle in my arch. It was uncomfortable to put pressure on it.

Pretty sure it was a plantar fibroma. I noticed on Earth Clinic that one person had used frankincense. Well, that always works well for me and I had it on hand.

Before bed each night, I massaged some frankincense essential oil into the arch of my foot. I also did some gentle stretching.

Within a week the lump in my arch was gone! No more pain and tenderness!

Hello Mama to Many,

I have a small cyst-like thing on both of my feet in the arch.

What brand of Frankincense did you use?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear Angela,

I used Frankincense frereana/carterii from Hopewell oils.

It is a staple in my house and I use it for many things!
