Dr. Brandini*, of Florence, Italy, has recently discovered that citric acid will assuage (relieve) the violent pain of cancer. He applies to the part pledgets of lint soaked in a solution of citric acid, 4 grs** (0.00833 ounces = 0.2361515276 grams).; dissolved in soft water, 350 grs. (about ¾ oz.), with the result of affording instantaneous relief in the most aggravated cases.
