Thyroid Question

My dr says I'm in the normal range with TSH of 0.94. She keeps saying I'm 'low' thyroid, which to me means hypo, but I really think I'm closer to hyper. I'm so confused. She put me on levothyroxin years ago because I complained of being cold all the time, no tests or anything. but I can't tell that the levo is doing anything, so I quit taking it and now I'm colder than ever, so maybe it is doing something? I don't want to go back to her because I caught her in a lie, asked for clarification and she threatened to release me as her patient. so, I said you're fired. Anyway. I am freezing all the time, have terrible insomnia and tend to gain weight, so that could all be me or it could be random thyroid. (Runs in my family, btw). Anyway, the wait for another dr is over 6 months so I'm trying to solve the riddle myself in the meantime. Any suggestions? I already treat for pancreas and liver, I did a parasite cleanse a month ago, eat real clean and just don't know what to try. Seems dessicated thyroid sounds good but could trigger if I go in the wrong direction? Sorry for this being so disjointed, but I'm so tired all the time and can hardly think straight anymore. I already take beef organs supplement (Ancient Nutrition), along with liver/pancreas supplements, acacia and psyllium for my ibs-d, and probiotics. I just need a path to follow, if anyone can suggest that. Thanks

TSH is definitely NOT enough for thyroid function diagnosis. You will need FreeT3 and FreeT4

The dr I fired is the top endocrinologist in our area and she refuses to do any additional testing, that's why I'm heading 2 hours away to a different Dr.Until I get to that one and get a thorough test, what do I do? I'm trying to get my internist to do them, but it's tough. Guess what? When you hit a certain age, many tests/procedures are off the table for you in the US. Even with my fantastic insurance, I need to pay out of pocket for many things I want. If I used quest labs and paid for it myself, what tests should I get?
