Husband With Prostate Cancer - Seeking Advice on Traditional Treatments

Loriana (Bedford, NH) on 04/04/2021

Hello, my husband who is a healthy and very active 70-year old Jamaican man has been diagnosed with prostate cancer (Gleason 3+3) three years ago. After trying high-dose vit C therapy and then doing the Gerson therapy (juicing, even as and a plant-based strict diet along with supplements) for two + years, his PSA is now at 42 and last week's MRI showed a 2.6 cm lesion giving them a score of Pi-Rads 5!

He is scheduled for another biopsy in a week. The oncologist wants him to start Lupron injections and continue for 18 months Good Morning every 3 months, which is so crazy) before even seeing the results from his biopsy. Then they want to do radiation therapy.

We would like your input on this situation which is very stressful. While we're grateful the cancer has not spread outside the prostate, we'd like some direction with a treatment that addresses the cause. He did have ozone injection right into the prostate and we have been doing ozone insufflations 3x a week. His heavy metals test was OK.

Any guidance will be much appreciated as the doctors are rushing him into these very dangerous treatments and even though we have been praying A LOT, we don't feel this is the way to go, at least not after exploring other potential options.

We truly appreciate your website which I have personally used for decades. Good bless you!

Have you looked into Dr. Lindsey Berkson, "pancreatic cancer hope".

The use of low dose naltrexone and IV alpha lipoic acid have reversed both liver and prostate cancers.

If you have a loved one with pancreatic cancer look at Dr. Burt Berkson’s You Tubes. Dr. Berkson has kindly put much of his work, even pre and post MRIs up on You Tube for free.

Treatment summary:

  • low dose naltrexone
  • IV alpha lipoic acid
  • diet low in carbs
  • no refined foods with lots of plant based foods.

Here is his second article synopsis in PubMed.

Integr Cancer Ther. 2009 Dec;8(4):416-22. doi: 10.1177/1534735409352082.
Revisiting the ALA/N (alpha-lipoic acid/low-dose naltrexone) protocol for people with metastatic and nonmetastatic pancreatic cancer: a report of 3 new cases.

You two need to read "The Great Prostate Hoax..." by Dr. Richard Ablin (who discovered the PSA molecule). This is a stunning revelation of what is going on.

I can almost guarantee that he is very low in Vitamin D3. Because he is Jamaican, his darker skin makes it harder to get enough Vitamin D3 from the sun. Vitamin D3 helps prevent cancer and is instrumental in healing it. Have his levels tested. A healthy level is between 40-60 ng/ml. For fighting cancer, it would be best if it were close to 90. On www.cancertutor.com they recommend a dose of 20,000 IU a day. For the first couple of weeks, I would go much higher than that to quickly get his levels up. When I was dealing with kidney cancer I took 40,000 IU for months with no ill effects. This treatment is cheap, easy, and the only side effects are better health!

All glands need iodine, including the prostate, the thyroid, the breasts, the ovaries, etc. All the Halides (bromide-from commercial bread) fluoride, etc, use the same receptors and displace iodine. You can’t get enough from food. See Dr. Brownstein‘s book, and check out Dr. Sircus as well.

Get an iodine test from Hakala labs and see if your husband is deficient in iodine. Or, find a naturopathic doc who understands the use of it if you don’t care to go it alone. Good luck.

Hello, I eat canned chili which I suspect bothers my prostrate, hours after I take turmeric and black pepper. I also at a different time take ginger, cinnamon lemon tea. I actually take lemon water or tea 3 times daily to keep an alkaline body.
