"Here in England we have deer and sheep ticks and I discovered that sprinkling a shake or 2 of Cayenne Pepper and Turmeric onto my dogs food stops fleas and ticks. When other dog owners, who walked there dogs in the forest, were complaining they and there dogs had been bitten, my dogs remained clear.
Don't see why it wouldn't help people too.
Just be aware that Cayenne Pepper can thin the blood so if your dog is on blood thinners best avoid."
