"I hope someone can help me out.

My lovely little cat of age 20 years unforunately has arthritis. Her weight is 2.5 kilograms.

Is Borax in this stage still effective?

And which doses can I give to her, if effective?

"

"If an animal needs something, they will recognize it when it's present. Offer her a choice of waters. One plain, one distilled, one plain with a tiny bit of borax and one distilled with a tiny bit of borax.

You can do the same with ACV or herbs or whatever. Just make sure the bowls are properly labeled so you know which is which. And don't let your monkey mind interfere or tell you that more is better. Let her tell you that. If she prefers the borax (or ACV or whatever), increase by tiny amounts. And watch out for signs that it's "better than nothing" rather than "the thing she needs". It may not be exactly what she needs but, rather, merely something that contains something the body can use. Whether for whatever your monkey mind is trying to affect or for something else.

The best thing you can do is pay attention - I.e. keep your puny, human, monkey mind out of the equation as much as possible and let the animal's own body do all of the talking.

Confinement is the worst thing about keeping "pets". It prevents them from hunting for what they need, leaving them at the mercy of the stupid, puny monkey mind of man."
