"If I use butter or pumpkin...how often & how much (qty) once a week & tsp???? or more often"Posted By Kathryn4 (Maryland) on 04/05/2015
"This works. My cat will lick the butter! There were other things I tired but could not get her to take. I don't always have to put a dab of petroleum jelly on her fur to get her to take it."Posted By Pam E. (SW Calif.) on 04/24/2025
"I give my cats Coconut oil ... 1/8th tsp per meal (2x daily). If they show signs (like coughing) of needing more, I give them a little more. They usually will lick it right out of their bowls ... but if they got into something & now have a tummy ache, I've found that smearing it on a front paw results in them licking it off, sooner or later ... and within an hour their tummy ache has so far disappeared! Coconut oil is easily digested, but only so much of it! After that it becomes something to help loosen things up in the GI tract! It has amazing health benefits, from anti-inflammatory & pain relief, to anti : viral, bacterial, fungal, & parasiticide (certain ones)!"
