I get frequent infections around menstrual time. I use cylinder shape ice cube trays - melt 1/4 cup coconut oil on the stove, add to trays, and freeze.

This is a miracle remedy for me. I get repetitive infections and this cured me in three days of the coconut bullet recipe. Love this! Thank you to all who shared this!

Still working on this with the coconut oil. I am using it twice a day. Instead of baggie in freezer, I am using a couple of plastic measuring spoons...the 1/4 tsp ends. fill them and put on a plate in the fridge. That makes the perfect sized suppository. I have only been doing for 2 days, this time around. Last time, I remember that it helped a great deal. But, am not sure why I have this flare up, as I wasn't on any antibiotics, recently. So, am not sure if I was ever cured. This time, I'm also working on healing the gut with a primal diet.

Coconut oil RULES for yeast infections. I suffered them quite regularly that I was in so much pain. I was using the creams and I could no longer afford them as I was getting it all the time.

"Coconut bullets" worked a treat.

Basically just use half a teaspoon - a teaspoon of coconut oil and wrap it in cling wrap to make a bullet shape and put it in the freezer and simple use it like a tampon when it is solid.

Best to do it overnight as it does melt.

I'm in my twenties and like most women have had my share of yeast infections. I don't like to take medication anymore and a couple months ago I had a bad infection. In the past I have tried numerous methods like the yogurt tampon, ACV and this past time I first tried the garlic clove and that actually made things worse! I then read about how a few people had success with taking coconut oil for yeast infections. I've used coconut oil for various health reasons in the past but never took it consistently. I luckily had some on hand so before bed I immediately ingested 2 tablespoons mixed with OJ( tastes like candy!) The next morning, my yeast infection felt 50% better after just a couple spoonfuls of CO. I continued to take it for a few more nights and it knocked the infection right out. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy!! I would highly recommend ingesting coconut oil if you have a yeast infection. It really works and I've already told several women about this awesome remedy!

I have found a cure for my yeast infections! I have been reading earth clinic for years, and promised myself that I would never post until I found something that was worthy. I don't get yeast infections often, but when I do, it's horrendous. It quickly gets out of control, even when I abstain from all sugars, grains and anything else that would worsen the problem.

So for the last two days, I was in horrible pain, and I had this crazy idea that seemed like it would work. Take the two most powerful antifungals - Coconut oil and acidophilus, and keep them in your vagina somehow.

Here it is ladies :

1. Take a tampon (I know this sounds excruciating but wait)
2. Soak the tampon in coconut oil. Don't need to go nuts, but just enough to coat the tampon.
3. Take a tablespoon of coconut oil and put it into a cup.
4. Next, get a good probiotic( acidophilus) in capsule form and take three to four capsules, open them up and add them to the coconut oil.
5. Stir together to make a paste. Not too thick though.
6. Then coat the tampon with the paste and insert.
7. Scrape up the rest of the paste and coat the labia and just the very outside of your vagina, to relieve any discomfort.

Sit back, relax, and wait :)

I woke up this morning and my infection was gone! No more pain, AT ALL!!!!

I would suggest doing this for a few nights though, just to be extra sure it's gone.

Hope this helps!

I get yeast infections like crazy- I'm definitely a candida ridden person. My diet isn't terrible, yet I always get them! It may be related to my IUD- I think it gives me bartholin cysts from time to time too. I've tried all of the remedies listed here- the garlic, the yogurt on a tampon, ACV douches, peroxide douches, and everything else. The only, only thing that works for me is this: Coconut oil. I ingest a bunch of it (I eyeball it) approx 2-6 teaspoons. Over the course of about two days it's gone. It's the caprylic acid in the coconut oil. It kills yeast on contact. You can also apply directly to the source and it stops the itching and kills the yeast that way too- but definitely ingest it as the main yeast fighter. I use organic coconut oil, not the virgin one. The regular coconut oil works wonders on me, where the extra virgin coconut oil is only so-so. I put the oil in my coffee to mask the oilyness, and just drink it up. It's easiest that way. You can also put it on toast, or cook your food in it.

Virgin coconut oil tampons stopped my vaginal yeast infections. I have found that soaking an organic cotton tampon in Virgin Coconut oil for a few minutes (non bleached, non deodorized, organic etc) and then inserting it over night for a maximum of 8 hours (the maximum time you should leave a tampon in for) brings great relief. It may take persistence and several nights for the problem to be resolved, but it is an easy, painless way to resolve an uncomfortable and sometimes persistent problem. Of course you need to get to the root of the problem itself - candida, poor diet etc - but this seems to work really well for localised infections
