Germanium for Ethylene Oxide Poisoning

Giorgio (Italy ) on 11/20/2021

The topic is actually vasculitis, but I did not find a way to address that directly. Please share. I had a headache behind my head due to an ethylene oxide intoxication, which caused blood vessel inflammation (EO crosses the blood-brain barrier, and one of the causes of back-head pain is blood vessel inflammation in the brain).

I took GE-132, i.e., organic germanium supplement, and the damage went. Why? Germanium, this little-known thing, boosts oxygen throughout the body, apart from being beneficial in and of itself also for the brain, so my brain blood vessels were nourished and repaired. That's how I can explain my sudden improvement.

Caveat: be careful about the kind of germanium supplement.

Vasculitis: Isn't Echinacea usually considered an immune stimulator and so should be avoided for autoimmune illnesses? I haven't been able to take it for years and was only recently diagnosed with GLA vascilitis. I also found Goldenseal listed as one avoid for autoimmune disease and Garlic is on the list to avoid from John's Hopkins. I'm wondering about Olive Leaf extract... I am going to be testing my alkaline level and look at adding other suggestions here. My doctor has me taking Cytoquel and Transfer Factors from Researched Nutritionals plus a few other supplements.

Bicarbonate of Soda for Giant Cell Arteritis and/or Polymyalgia Rheumatica

It's recently been reported that sodium bicarbonate is a potential cure for auto immune diseases and I know many on here follow Ted's alkalising protocol.

I am interested in whether it might help for Giant Cell Arteritis and/or Polymyalgia Rheumatica. Has anyone had any success with these conditions using sodium bicarb alone? (obviously for GCA steroids can't be avoided at least until the ESR has fallen to a normal level).

The suggestion is 0.5 tsp bicarb. once daily in water. I can report no improvement after about 2 weeks of this.

One concern is that many of the remedies suggested here presuppose a poor diet or lifestyle. Naturally if one suffers from acidity, alkalising may help. However in the case of a good diet, plenty of exercise, no alcohol, junk food or sugar, is there still benefit? And if stomach acid is already low?

Liver Flush for Vasculitis and Degenerative Diseases

Vasculitis & All degenerative disease cures

For any degenerative disease, the liver needs to be addressed. A congested liver cannot possibly function in the capacity to which it was designed to. Once you address this and get the liver running optimally, then you are on the road to improved health. May I suggest to anyone reading this thread, to research into doing liver flush and to do as many flushes that it take to clear the congestion in the liver up. Plus, you need to continue on the path to take liver stimulating herbs. Here is to good health! A healthy liver frees up the life flow.

Diabetic Leg Ulcers

Barb17 (Colorado) on 12/30/2014

I don't have diabetes, but suffer from vasculitis, which has really affected my feet. I have lost much of the feeling in them, and sores are slow to heal. About 6 months ago I got a small cut just above my ankle. It would not heal, and over time just got worse. Terrible pain every day. Xrays showed no bone infection, just a lack of circulation was slowing the healing. Two dermatologists were unable to help with the healing. I finally went to a local foot and ankle clinic, where the podiatrist applied a zinc cast, called an Unna Boot, to my foot and leg almost to my knee. This is a soft cast, made with a material soaked with a zinc paste. I was skeptical but when I went back a week later, the change was truly amazing! And for the first time in months I wasn't in pain every day. She reapplied another wrap, and by the end of the second week, I was pain free and there was a lot of healing. The skin around the sore was not painful to the touch as it had been for months - actually a little itchy! I can't tell you how amazing this was, given the state of the sore before the Unna Boot. These are available through online stores (amazon for one) and would be easy for one to apply to oneself. I was surprised that neither of the dermatologists I consulted ever mentioned this, and thought it would be good to get the word out. Really miraculous!

Hypersensitivity Vasculitis

Rosza (Budapest) on 11/16/2013

Hypersensitivity Vasculitis:

Please help me and send some suggestions. I had a case of Hives for almost 4 weeks in 2012 July before that a bit of eczema around anus and hemorroid before I got Hives. Doctor thought it was Steph (hives) but they did not find anything in test but still gave me antibiotics. These hives left dark patches allover my trunk and legs . Once the Hives were over I started to get funny itch all over my lower legs and skin bled and had pimple like marks. Still the doctor did not find anything. To cut the long story short I went thru every test and gastroscopy no gluten no chemical and food allergy ..finally they found Soya lecithin, dustmites and Shellfish allergy plus high TSH not so high though (maybe because of Soya allergy). In January I got 10 days antibiotics by gastroscopist ( then we did not know of soya allergy- due to it reflux and acidity problem almost for a year therefore hives and eczema) and my body broke into lesions and rashes which turned dark and bled...Finally one skin doctor said it was VASCULITIS and I should just apply cream and follow diet- no nuts, tomatoes, lentils etc. But I noticed that now am allergic to almost everything even nettle and calendula tea, Sulphur homeopathic pills....even to onions, garlic, ppper and chillies spices...everything gives me rashes and bleeding over my legs and now it's spreading over my body especially my private part has itching somethimes skin peals of in nicks and blood come out..but my legs have blotches and skin lesions...like you can see in any pics of cutenous vasculitis and the terrible itching all the time on my body especially legs and arms around elbows...KINDLY SUGGEST ME HOW TO GET RID OF IT..I HAVE TRIED DOCTORS BUT MAY BE THEY TRIED TO SOLVE IT WITH CREAMS AND SINCE IT IS GETTING WORSE MIGHT PUT ME ON STEROIDS WHICH I WANT TO AVOID...PLEASE HELP EVEN EATING FISH AND EGGS SOMETIMES GIVES ME BLEEDING AND INFLAMMED SKIN ALOS WAXING MY LEGS..

THANKS A TON..
