Hello Everyone! I absolutely love Earth Clinic and have successfully used the remedies here for over 15 years now while avoiding painful procedures and countless doctor's visits - go ACV!! LOL. I have never posted, but feel I owe it to you guys to let you learn from my big mistake. I am a huge fan of baking soda and its many natural uses. I decided I was going to use baking soda to whiten my teeth naturally one day and I want to bring something to your attention about it. I started brushing with pure baking soda twice a day every day for a couple of weeks until one day, I noticed my teeth were inflamed and very sore. It struck me as odd, and as I pondered what the problem might be, immediately I knew! It's the baking soda!!!! But how? It is so good and alkalizing for our whole body and even our teeth..???? Then, my husband, who is a really smart guy, said to me, ohhh!! Baking soda is a *BASE*. You wouldn't brush your teeth with straight ACV (an ACID) would you? Then you also wouldn't brush your teeth with straight baking soda!!!! He said you know those magic erasers that you use to clean your walls and tubs with, and they work so well? It's because those are a *BASE* and that is just as strong as an *ACID*. Remember science class? Any way, I had to learn the hard way, and it is true, your enamel does not come back on its own without MUCH effort. Ask me how I know. It's been years now. I will say BS is probably just fine to use it like a mouthwash, though. If you do happen to ruin your own enamel this way, like I did, it's the only time I recommend going to the dentist for fluoride unless you can get in to a natural dentist for nanohydroxyapatite treatments and until you can remedy this problem naturally. So far the very best thing that works for my sensitive teeth is a very expensive brand of toothpaste called "NOBS". Earth clinic, please feel free to not post the name here. I am only posting it because it is the only brand that I have found that works the best for *me*, even though I am certain there are others out there. I am just tired of spending money to keep trying to find them so I stick with this one. I did also use Apagard, as suggested here on this site, with some good success, I know it's cheaper. The main thing you need on your teeth is the "Nanohydroxyapatite." I have also heard, and am looking into now taking Coral Calcium, D3/K2, & homeopathy. It is the "Calc Flour" they say you want. I am going to try taking that for a few months and see if it helps. There is a wonderful website that explains why Coral Calcium is important for your teeth if you'd like more info on it called lifesaving health.org
All the best. God bless you, Earth Clinic, the founder, all the faithful people here, shout out to "Mile High Tennessee" - a hoot!, the precious "Mama to many", and how I miss hearing from our dear friend, "Ted from Bangkok"! I always try to remember to come back here to make any Amazon purchases because it is so important to humanity to support this site. If you've been helped by this site, please return the favor and be a blessing back to them so they will continue to be a strong advocate for us!
