I had microneedling done and it really made my melasma get worse on my cheeks. I decided to try Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to increase facial volume. PRP is where they draw your blood and spin it in machine then inject it with small needles and it feels like a light pinch, Anyway, in a little over two weeks all of my melasma disappeared. I'm not sure if PRP is something one might have to do every six months, but it worked for me! I also have started taking vitamin C, NAC with selenium. liposomal glutathione and msm daily. My skin looks totally flawless clear and it is glowing!
