The hospital gave her a cortisone injection with which she had trouble for many years. However, after much research the solution was really simple. A lack of Vitamin K.
So alfalfa sprouts, watercress, aloe arborescens being high in Vitamin K, gave her relief within 24 hours.
Go to the supermarket get and eat a bucket of alfalfa sprouts and it has fixed ITP like magic.
It occurred several time since and I have had to remind her that Vitamin K rich foods should be consistent in her diet.

On this journey I discovered Borax/Boron. One of its MANY functions in the body is to balance the hormones by activating the parathyroid. It was after 10 months of taking Borax/Boron and many improvements in my body that I noticed that the red dots I had developed all over my body were fading and disappearing. I can now happily shave my legs and not worry that nicking one of these red dots will cause me to bleed for hours.
I should also add that I started taking Beet Crystals on a very sporadic basis as my taste buds desired. These crystals are like candy so I don't take them everyday. This combination has worked miracles for me in reducing and eliminating the red dots that I believe people should take as a warning sign.
Have a healthy happy life.

After the 2nd week, one spot returned. Suggested blood lab for platelet count & awaiting results. Consulted with licensed NMD who suggested possible chemical sensitivities panel such as ELISA, etc. Client unwilling to perform 'chem-sens' testing & possibly after platelet count results. I will advise results when confirmed.
Note: about 85% of vit-C is gmo corn based from China. Non-gmo is avail online or health food stores & labeled as such. Doses are based on bowel tolerance. If loose bowel, reduce dosage to comfort level. Sodium ascorbate is buffered, non-acidic, & will not affect "salt restricted diets" as no chlorides are present.

The person who wrote the posting also mentioned that it was important to drink a lot of water in order not get kidney stones from the high dosage of vitamin C. To make a long story short when they check her platelet counts 10 days later they were normal. We went back a month later and she was fine. Up to this day I THANK GOD for that person who shared the information about the vitamin C cure for low platelet counts.
I pray that you will also find a cure. God bless you.

Hey, I am suffering from ITP (Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) since the age if 13 years, I am 26 now and I got heavy bleeding once my periods started, they did not stop until I take medicine. I was cotinuous bleeding.. my hb - 6.5. I feel so weak, but able to do daily work. My doctor gave me prednisolone.. by which my weight got increased but it did not work. Then doctor suggests for spelectomy. I get it done at the age of 15 .even then my platelet count does not increase till now, I got bruises on my body. Now , my gums also start bleeding , day and night.
It was very difficult to bear the heavy bleeding everytime. I got disappointed. Then I thought I should go for natural diet which majorly includes aloe vera juice. By which my gum's bleeding has stopedp and periods got lighter.
So guys, who all are suffering form this and low platelet count, , plz plz start taking aloe vera juice. it is bitter in taste but far more better than taking this tablets and surgery. Please start this and live a happy life.
Thanks a lot

Yesterday I had some bloodwork and my platelets were 128K! That is the best number I have ever had. (and 125K used to be considered the low normal. ) So, maybe I don't even have ITP anymore.
But it may be the extra virgin cold processed coconut oil alone isn't the only thing that has improved my numbers. (And I wasn't taking coconut oil for platelets, anyway. ) At the end of July I had a deer tick bite that was causing me extra symptoms. (We have lots of ticks and I have had many bites, but this one swelled worse and my lymph nodes were swelling, so I was suspecting it was a lyme carrying tick. ) Realizing that conventional protocol would have been a lot of testing with possible inconclusive results and an anti-biotic for a month, I decided to try natural things and see how things went. I took lots of GSE (grapefruit seed extract) and Astragalus Root daily for 6 weeks, to strenthen my immune system and kill off bacteria. It was just a guess, but I have been reading a lot by Stephen Buhner, a lyme expert who does a lot of natural things, and it seemed reasonable.
For anyone with ITP, I have read in a couple of places that papaya leaf is very good to help bring up the platelet count. I have never tried it, as while I have had low platelets for a long time, then haven't bothered me and it wasn't high on my list of priorities. It would be something to look in to.
So, I don't have any hard and fast conclusions, just an anecdotal story and some thoughts. I pass them along because maybe it will help someone else. We all benefit by the collective knowlege shared here.
Have a great day!
