Eye infection bothered me too. After doing a lot of gardening, and not covering my hair, or washing every time I gardened, hair got at night into one of my eyes, on side I like to sleep on. The long hair in my eye kept waking me up, and few days later my eye was tearing up, and itched. That went on for several months.Thinking it was a dry eye, I bought dry eye eyedrops, computer dry eye eyedrops, and some other drops. No help. It still teared and itched.

Then I prayed about it, l and got that a drop liquid Grapefruit Seed Extract by Nutribiotics (the original company that makes clear extract) diluted in filtered water, applied by an eye cup would be the help I needed. The itching stopped in 2 days, and the entire problem was completely gone in a week.

For the past three years I have been suffering from an unknown infection in the corner of my eye. It took a long time to finally figure out it was (as far as I can tell) a fungal infection. I used ACV on it and IT SPREAD EVERYWHERE. I had to be careful because it is very close to my eyeball, but finally found lavender oil and eucalyptus oil. I dilute and wash my face with one drop eucalyptus, 2 drops lavender oil to 1 teaspoon of water a few times a day. So far so good! I will continue until the bottles are empty, probably a few months or so.
