I have always used natural remedies to cure my ills or take care of my skin, and when a cousin of mine became ill with liver cancer I started searching the internet frantically (that's how I came across this site) for a way to help him get rid of the toxins in his body, but it was too far gone. He died one month after being diagnosed with the cancer. A few months ago I started dating a gentleman, who is a great guy but he had bad breath, he brushed and gargled Listerine which didn't help, but masked the bad breath for a few minutes. Since it was his breath, and not his personality that was bad, I bought a bottle of hydrogen peroxide for him to brush his teeth and tongue with and also gargle. The next time we went out the bad breath was gone and he said he can tell the difference. I don't know what he had or what happened scientifically but the hydrogen peroxide worked.

I started using hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse 1/2 peroxide 1/2 water....Rinse mouth with the solution and let stand for 2-3 mins, if you look into your mouth you can see the peroxide solution working in between teeth and under the gum line. rinse well after 2-3 min and brush teeth as usual. If you use this solution at night you will notice a lack of morning breath in the am.....The peroxide kills the bacteria that causes bad breath....last but not least...peroxide is cheap!!

3% hydrogen peroxide cures halitosis, instantly. Excellent remedy for halitosis or sulphur smell when some one sneezes. This is not the masking agent like mouth freshener but it takes care of the problem and whitens the teeth.

I have battled bad breath ever since I gave birth to my first born three years ago. When I had my second child, the smell got even worse. Almost smelled like a "toot"/fart, whatever, it was gross. I tried everything, but THE ONLY thing that has worked for me is gargling w/ hydrogen peroxide. I bought the regular 3% from the drug store and gargle w/ it in the mornings and evenings. The taste is gross, and it leaves a film in your mouth that takes about 5 minutes to disappear, but it's well worth it. After I gargle (20-30 secs. is all I can stand) I immediately use a tongue scraper 5 or 6 times. Make sure you scrape as far back on your tongue as you can and don't eat or drink for 15 minutes afterwards. It's cool b/c once you start to gargle, you can actually feel the hydrogen tingling on your tongue like it's fighting the bacteria. As an added bonus, my teeth are whiter, and my gums and tongue are a healthy pink color. I love this stuff, and at $.99 cents for a bottle, how can you go wrong?!

I started putting HP on my tongue and letting it sit there without swallowing it for 5 minutes. (before I put the HP on i brushed and flossed my teeth first thing in the morning). After the five minutes were up, my tongue was thick and gooey with bacteria. After that I scraped my tongue with a spoon. It was gross but my gums no longer bled when I brush them and also my energy levels are up!

After reading that Hydrogen peroxide kills breath odor. I decided to do some reasearch before I tried it. What I was basically trying to find was information that would convince me that peroxide wasn't going to poison me. Well I was convinced and decided to try. I've been rinsing my mouth with diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide for the past 3 days and it worked...I had horrible bad breath it was horrible but now it's gone. I'm even having my boyfriend do the same. I'm so happy I tried this. I highly recommend it!!!!!

I had a problem of Bad breath for many years now. I had mints all over the place to make sure I had them all the time. I brushed my teeth after every meal and yet within an hour the bad breath was back. Then I came across Sharon's advice last week. Tried it and it WORKED!!! No bad breath from then on. Amazing! I rinsed my mouth in ordinary peroxide for about 2 minutes. Yes, my tongue was a bit sore. I rinsed after lunch and didn't have dinner-- I wasn't hungry, just so very happy. Next day my tongue was back to normal. Thank you very much, Sharon! It has changed my life. A question: Do you think it is okay to have a quick peroxide rinse everyday morning? Does it harm the teeth enamel in any way?
EC: We read somewhere on the internet a few months ago that hydrogen peroxide can potentially wear down dental fillings, but is fine for dental enamel (it's what they use in teeth whitening formulas). We rinse with it every few days and have NOT noticed any fillings deteriorate!

Cured and relieved me of bad breath. I could tell it worked. It was painful for a few days but it cleansed everything out.
