For those who suffer from Bells Palsy and you don’t want to take Drugs, do this each day: Black seed oil in morning internal and heat to rub or Massage in face both sides or you can switch and use Castor Oil the same way. Drink Hawthorn and Hisbiscus tea in Morning. Half hour later take 2 Ginger Capsules and 1 Turmeric Capsules in morning with water or alkaline water. Hour later, take MSM pill 💊 and an B Complex 💊 with water.

Half hour later Cayenne, Garlic pill 💊 with water.

Half hour later, either drink Orange Juice or take a vitamin C 💊.

By 12 pm or after eat a green salad 🥗 of cucumbers, ROMAINE Lettuce 🥬,celery, parsley red or sweet onion, 3 crush garlic, dash of cayenne, turmeric, Apple Cider Vinegar dash in 🥗 salad eat it with coconut and vinegar, or brags special salad dressings ,they have different ones. If don’t want to eat this you can put in a good blender like vitamix and make a powerful green mix but add fresh ginger. Best to get all your food products from Farmers market organic. Also make 3 times a day celery drink by itself to drink or you can add cucumbers, ginger and 🍋 lemon. Night time another capsule of Tumeric, Ginger, MSM. Keep the tear drops in your eye few times throughout the day and before you rest. Lemon water 💦 at night be fore rest.

Stay on Plant food and herbs nothing else to eat with your salad except Broccoli boil. And watch the amazing affect you start feeling in a week to two weeks not just to heal Bells Palsley but overall health. Also in the 24 hours you also should take a plant Base protein shake excellent one called Vega Shakes look it up online Morning x it with part coconut milk and part almond milk ,very good for health. Now if you can stick with this in discipline each days. with your massaging your face or putting semi hot wash cloth on your face and even every other day to-drop the two to 4 drops whatever your brand says of oil of oregano 🌿 and stick to all of this you will be amazed in its help to heal Bells Palsy. But always check with your doctor if this is good for you The Natural way but remember The Almighty God in his scriptures is the healer and said he give you Herbs as your meat to eat as healing food.

Multiple Remedies for Bells Palsy Not Working

Jal (Minneapolis, Mn) on 08/17/2017

Hi, Thank you for making such a place where natural remedies are discussed. Highly appreciate it! I got bell's palsy in last month of pregnancy. Did take steroids but 48hrs later. It's been 11 months and have only improved 50% if that. I have tried massage, acupuncture (50-60 sessions by now), chiropractor, turmeric, ginger, bunch of different vitamins, essential oils, castor oils and heat packs, yoga, meditation and CS (for last 3 weeks). Nothing seems to have clicked so far. As soon as I started meditation my eye started closing which was a great help. But no further improvements after that.

Can you please suggest if there's anything else I can try? Also I read about DMSO and CS combining and applying. IS it something that can still work? or am I too late for that? Is there any way I can learn that virus is there or not and/or may be virus is gone and nerves are damaged? How do I help nerve regeneration.

Thanks a ton!

I am in my early 50's and woke up one morning at the end of September with Bell's Palsy. Thought I had A atroke. Urgent care told me It's Bells Palsy. I refused to take the Steroids they gave me.

I have been Juicing Ginger, Celery and Blueberries. All though my face looks normal again it still has not totally gone away, I still do not yet have movement on my right eye brow & upper right lip. I hear Turmeric is also helps, I am going to start adding it to my Natural juicing. I will let you know if it seems to help.

Physical Therapy and B Vitamins for Bell's Palsy

Fely M. Llav E (Mataasnakahoy, Batangas, Philippines) on 05/25/2016

I had my bells palsy last October 27,2016. I looked up for a neurologist and gave me medications like steroids 2x a day, vitamins B1, B6 & B12, for 3x a day and physical therapy once a day for 3 weeks. (Included in the PT is the facial exercises) that helps the muscles relax. It was 1 month and 3 weeks I already feel the changes. The droop face recovered earlier than expected. I also researched for best food that is rich in Vit. B1, B6 and B12. Meat and seafoods, dairy products, fruits and vegetables and fortified foods which is rich in vitamins B. It really helps my bells palsy recover soon. In a little span of time, exactly 3 months I'm already healed. I also take at least 7 to eight hours of sleep.

Black Seed Oil, Habbatus Sauda Oil for Bells Palsy

I had a client with Bell's Palsy. She came to me and I had her massage her face with the Black Seed and Habbatus Sauda oils and take it internally too. She took 1 teaspoon of black seed oil daily with some honey. It is best to take the oil 1/2 hour before breakfast.

Her testimony is that her face returned 110%.

"I’ve been putting it on my face full strength since the Bells Palsy with great results and no reactions of any kind so I think it’s safe. My face is nearly back to normal.

Re: Colloidal Silver for Facial Palsy

Wen (Chicago, Il) on 07/29/2014

Hi, I developed a facial palsy about 5 years ago. I only recovered about 50-60%. I don't have any drooping on my face, but my smile is still very lopsided. Also, when I smile, the eye on the affected side tries to close, and my chin is still dimpled. Last, every time I catch a cold or any kind of upper respiratory infection, I get pain behind my ear in the exact same spot as when the palsy first started. Do you think I could benefit from using the colloidal silver at this point so much later? Thanks for any advice you may have.

Re: Helichrysum for Bell's Palsy

Suzanne (New Jersey, US) on 07/19/2014

I've had Bell's Palsy on one side of my face for over 17 years! My eye still won't shut, I still can not smile. It happened during surgery to remove a brain tumor, so I know it was physical damage. I went for acupuncture twice a week for six months, but it didn't fix it. I've heard good things about certain nerve regenerating essential oils, especially Helichrysum Oil. I just started using it 2 days ago. I'll post again if I see positive results.

Dietary Changes and Supplements Helping Bells Palsy

Brian (Arkansas) on 09/05/2013
4 out of 5 stars

I know for me Bell's Palsy had nothing to do with chicken pox, shingles, cold sores virus etc. I've never suffered from any of that. I also don't have Lyme's Disease. Dental doesn't seem to be a concern either. I did help lift a person who grabbed my neck to assist in the lifting, and then 2 days later woke up with a pain in the base of my skull and cramps behind my ear. About 15 minutes later my mouth went numb and I had trouble blinking my eye. Next thing I knew, my right side was paralyzed from moving but I never lost any feeling. My hearing in my right ear became super-human. Someone whispers and it sounds like they are screaming. I tried a chiropractor and it seemed to make matters worse for me, but I don't want to discourage anyone from seeking that as an option. In my case I believed a pinched nerve or something like that was the culprit. So I started a daily routine 6 weeks ago. WATER ONLY. I've drank nothing but water. Organic fruit and vegetables. Started taking sublingual B-12, B-12 tabs, Lysine, Calcium, Flax Oil, Omega-3 and B-6. These I found at Walmart for reasonable prices. I doubled the recommended doses for myself, and I took as much B-12 as I could stand because it's supposed to be harmless. I then started taking Colloidal Silver immediately, which was just a precaution in the event that I somehow had an infection. I could only find Colloidal Silver in a healthfood store, but Walgreen's offered to order it for me. I just didn't want to wait for it. I fasted for a day, drinking water when I felt hungry.

I don't know if any of this truly worked for me or not, it may be a placebo effect or just natural course, but I'm 6 weeks in and I've regained the ability to move my nostril, my speech is no longer slurred, I can blink my eye with no problem. I still can't lift my eyebrow, and when I smile my right corner still droops. Did the vitamins and diet work? I don't know. Was it the chiropractor? I don't know either. I'm still going to continue taking them cause even if they didn't work, they made me feel as though I was doing something to better myself. I also used a back massager and massaged my face every 2 hours to stimulate the nerves. I practice A E I O U and exagerate the formation of the letters with my mouth. I hold my eyebrow in place as I mentally think about lifting them, and then lift my left one. I do the same with the corner of my mouth. I've still got some recovering to do. I know B-12 and B-6 are good for your nerve endings and muscles. For a few bucks it's worth a try right?

Turmeric for Bell's Palsy

Martin (Hampshire, England) on 02/01/2013

I recently have tried using Tumeric to reduce the nagging ache you get with bells palsy , I used to be munching pain killers like they were sweets to alleviate the constant ache , I also have had the eye problem which goes with it. I bought a small jar of Tumeric from the local supermarket and decided to give it a go as I had read it was a good anti inflamitory. I mixed a half teaspoon of powder in half a wine glass of water once in the morning and once about an hour before bed. Its not the most pleasant thing as it tastes like drinking dirt but it has worked for me , not completley removed the symptoms but 95% gone and I cant remember the last time I had to take pain killers. It seems to have sorted my eye out too. Also have tried colloidal silver for sinus issues and it actually works when you put it up your nose , again not very pleasant but twice a day works for me.

My son had bell palsy 4 times. The first time he has when he was 6 yrs old, and Dr gave him steroid and he recovered. The 2nd time, he had it when he was 9 yrs old and again Dr gave him steroid but it took 2 mths before he recovered. The 3rd time, had when he was 11 yrs old, and Dr gave him steroid and he had to go for MRI, blood test etc, and the results came out negative but it took him 6 mths to recover, and he had to go for accupressure and craniasacral treatment. At 12 yrs old, got it again, and given steroid but no changes so this time I gave him black seed oil, habbatus sauda, kalonji oil for 2 mths, 450 mg 3x a day , his face is back to normal.

I went to a doctor for bells palsy and he said the only thing he could do was give me a steroid shot which did nothing. Days later I went to an accupuncturist who told me she had good results with this condition, but it may take several sessions. I must have been lucky because I had one session and my face was completely back to normal. Accupuncture is wonderful for many things.

I just passed by Bells Palsy page here to get some information for my son... For I had been a patient of this condition... For I am looking for some natural remedy.... My first time was when I was seven and then I was treated with electric shock waves for it was so shocking that I became a shy kid...

Next was when I was a teenager and treated with old fashion grandman home herbals hot steams remedy covering my whole face for some time then going to bed without letting no cold breeze hit you....

Third it was in NYC around the age of thirty or less cannot recall, I was panic, and went to one hospital then to another.. Visiting three hospital with no results.... Just stating that, "The same way it came it will go away".

To all out there that believe this... It is not true.... You can permanently stay like that.... I was real frighten...

An angel put a lady telling to go to a chiropratric..... I faithfully did go.... Starting every day for two weeks then three time a week and in a month my face was back to normal.... For I am thankfull.... But this condition can come for diffrent reasons.

My son's palsy is from an ear infection.... It can come from stress... My palsy came from drastic temperature body from heat to cold or viceversa which in spanish is called un Pasmo..... I advise whoever suffer from this Bell's Palsy to take immediate action for it can become permantly no matter who saids differently.

Oral Spray Calcium for Bell's Palsy

Bells Palsy is a calcium deficeincy. I have now had 8 peoples faces back to normal in 2 weeks by giving them oral spray calcium. Number 9 is trying it now. I don't know if calcium pills would help as quickly but it has to work over the long run. The spray is sprayed on the inside of the cheeks, 6 sprays twice a day, for two weeks. I did find that one friend that had contracted it 4 years before, it didn't help but the other 8 started it within a week of the symtoms starting and all were back to normal in 2 weeks.

Seven years ago, I came down with Bells Palsy on the left side of my face. My eye was affected a great deal. I was having great muscle spasms in my left eye and suffering with pain. The doctor started giving me Botox Injections around my eye, every three month. This helps a lot. However, three weeks ago I came down with Bells Palsy on the right side of my face!!! Needless to say, I was shocked. Guess I'll be getting Botox in both eyes... I need my smile back...
