I am so sorry to hear this. What a heartbreak for a mother.

Mary, they say there is not antidote; they mean there is no known one. No one could possibly rule out every possible remedy that could help.

He could try activated charcoal. It removes toxins from the body. 4 capsules twice a day, 2 hours away from any medication. I would give it at least a month.

Also, exercise will help your body release toxins through the skin. It is also a natural anti-depressant. Youtube has a million options for every level of experience.

If that is not an option, perhaps a sauna is? To sweat out the toxins?

My adult kids are all into cold showers and ice baths and polar plunges. They say it helps the immune system. I wouldn't be surprised if cold showers would help with toxicity and depression as well.

I hope you find something to help him. He is very blessed to have a caring mom.

Here is an interesting website for those who were poisoned ("floxied") by fluoroquinolone drugs (like Cipro and Levaquin).

I believe these antibiotics (and the generic versions) now have black box warnings on them.

What works for one person may not work for another but there is a lot of information from real people who suffered the side effects of these drugs.

I thought I would try and give you some more hope for your son. I know well the fluoroquinolone medicines like Levaquin and Ciprofloxicin(aka Cipro). If you look at Levaquin and Cipro in Wikipedia you will see that they both contain at least one atom of Fluorine, which is a well known poison. Taking large amounts of flourine everyday in drug form will also completely wreck the body's thyroid gland. The flourine can also be stored in the thyroid, bidy tissues and bones. This will generate low thyroid or low iodine symptoms.

Low thyroid symptoms: low energy, fatigue, depression, brain fog, unable to think clearly, tired all the time, weight gain, sensitive to the the cold, dry skin and hair, muscle aches, digestive problems

So all we have to do is find some way of removing or replacing the fluorine currently in your son's body. And you should be able to remove the fluorine in his body over time by taking The Iodine Protocol -- the iodine will act to remove and replace the fluorine stored throughout your son's body. Iodine also removes heavy metals like cadmium, lead, mercury, aluminum and also helps to remove bromine from the body. This protocol will take some time to remove all the fluorine -- particularly the fluorine stored in the fat and stored in the bones. It may take up to a year to completely remove all the fluorine from your son's body.

Please also remember that Lugol's Iodine (or Iodoral) does many other beneficial things for the body. I remember when I first took high dose Lugol's Iodine(50mg per day) for my systemic candida problem, my brain fog completely cleared within a week. I could sleep without problems and think clearly again. I was much happier!

Please also be aware that it's very likely that your son will have a Herxheimer reaction when he first starts the protocol -- which is normal. If that's the case then please don't stop the iodine protocol -- just lower the dose for a while and then raise the dose again when he eventually comes out of it.

In the end, I decided that both Cipro and Levaquin are really just a glorified form of antibiotic chemotherapy. And what does the chemo do? Yes, it might kill bacteria, viruses and parasites but I've also read that fluorine can also cause human cell necrosis(cell death!) in your body tissues.

Another disturbing fact for you. Ciprofloxacin is on the WHO's List of Essential Medicines.

I've also read that there have been a huge number of complaints(think court cases!!) against the manufacturers of Ciprofloxacin and Levaquin such that the FDA is now "considering" withdrawing these two drugs as a recommended hospital drug. By the way, I read that 6 years ago ... 😖
