Bulging Disk Causing Sciatica

Posted By Riya717 (San Francisco, Ca) on 04/15/2012

Hello! First of all I would like to say I have been reading and using all of Earth Clinic's remedies and suggestions for years and every single thing I have ever tried has worked! However, I have a health problem now that Earth Clinic does not seem to have an answer to. I have an bulging disk in my back (L5) which is bulging both to the back and the left, and compressing my sciatic nerve in my left leg and causing sciatica. This has been going on for a few months now and I have tried EVERYTHING, including lots of prescription pain medicine, two separate physical therapy centers, an epidural steroid injection, and several OTC medicines and remedies. I am not able to walk more than a few steps, and it has gotten to the point where I am no loner able to live a normal life. Is there ANYTHING that you know of that can help to heal a bulging disc? Any advice at all from all of you wonderful and wise people will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Hi Riya717, I'm not sure about curing a bulging disk but have you tried an inversion board? It may relieve the pressure to the point where your pain won't be as bad, temporarily. Best wishes ~ Linda

Hello,

My brother is currently having this problem and so is my mom who has been living with sciatic nerve and bulging discs for over 10 years. I have them rub the areas with unrefined, organic coconut oil and also taking it internally. They both are having good results. It doesn't eliminate the pain completely but it should help! I also bought them hemp oil, organic, cold press to take internally. I hope you will try soon. I would be interested if it works for you too.
