I couldnt find any Borax in my town, but only Boric Powder. There is no other informations on the box other than Bhavi Chemicals Bangalore, and; not for medical use. 100 Gms (TECH), tha'ts all. Can I use it as the Borax remedy in Earth Clinic pages? Much love and light to all.

Hi Ashok,

Are you sure Borax is Suhaga ? G.T from AP, you can ask any chemist in your place and he can get you. In Mumbai there is an area where number of shops are there who deal in chemicals and medicinal drugs in bulk, the name is princes street and one can get Borax there. Boric acid is completely different, a lot is written about it on this site and I won't suggest to use Boric acid in place of Borax.

Hello, I see the many warnings to use Borax and NOT Boric Acid - but I can't find any rational for this warning.

From another website on this topic it says, "Boric acid, if available, may be used at about 2/3 the dose of borax" http://www.health-science-spirit.com/borax.htm

I have Boric Acid, and am very eager to get this cleared up... Thanks in advance!

These warnings are unfounded. In other earthclinic pages where Boric Acid is discussed, extremist warnings post too. But also listed are links to informed books/sites. I give this: borax and boric acid are in all my antique and vintage Early Amer and German cookbooks as health remedies, food preservatives, other non-bug kill home uses. For fastest research: go to googlebooks, search 'household __', 'health and __', 'agricultural __', 'veteranary __', and 'medical __'. For 'boric acid and health' the quick hilites and 3 minutes told me volumes. I include 2010 in searches as govt info often takes 5-10 years to publish anyway. See pg 390 of Nat'l Institute of Health Issue 53-57 about boric acid facts for example. DO NOT listen to random shouts by warning bloggers. FIRST do your OWN research, just like earthclinic also advises top of each page. Boric acid is used heavily in mfg/food/agri to cover/fix tainted foods. But in tiny, sparse amounts, yes, many govt/med reports report doctors teaching patients how to make their own very small amounts med capsules. Borax and boric acid are potent, but can and do heal.

For your reference, book titled 'Integrative Womens Health',

Best fastest easiest most informative book I ever read on Womens womens healthiness including vaginal was - Integrative Women's Health, 2010, by Victoria Maizes Executive Director & Associate Professor of Medici Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, Tieraona Low Dog Director of the Fellowship Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. It still costs usd40 or so. But its online free too (probably like a post said at googlebooks.

I saw the Warnings about boric acid for vaginal issues, so I'm suggesting all the women read this and teach the book to their girls too. At page 192 it says:

''In a double blinded RCT of 108 women with yeast, the boric acid cure rate was 92% at 7 to 10 days post-treatment and 72% at 30 days and that was significantly more effective than nystatin (Van Slyke 1981).... Specific diabetic women have higher cure rate in 14 days than 1 dose fluconazole, but at 3 months cure rates are same... Usual dose boric acid is 600mg in gelcap inserted in vag daily for 2 weeks with maintenance dose 2/weekly to prevent recurrence. There is LITTLE SYSTEMIC ABSORPTION with vag administration, but large amounts of oral ingestion are shown TOXIC. Also, it is inexpensive. DO NOT use during pregnancy.... Pap smear doesn't necessarily indicate Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)... "

Do ALL your research very well. Some professionals are interested in money or are limited by their bosses (their hospital or insurance group limits, or pharma's that fund them).

The chemistry of boron, boric acid and borax is extremely interesting, isn't it?

One of the components that borax breaks down into when exposed to specific kinds of acids - including stomach acid - is boric acid so, in a way, when you take borax you're taking - or, rather *extracting* the boric acid from it. Or, more accurately, your body is.

The "acid" aspect isn't what it sounds like as ACV is far more acidic than boric acid which is just to the acid side of the pH of water. A lot of tap water in the US is probably more acidic than boric acid so...

There isn't really any way to research these things because science makes up rules which they say are proven by exceptions and then just keep adding rules upon rules upon rules all the way back to the initial incorrect assumption rather than going back to the assumption and...fixing it. Every rule on top of another rule is an excuse for not doing that. And the writers of rules are perfectly willing to sacrifice whatever is necessary - including people's lives - to "save face". To preserve their social reputations. And not just scientists. Politicians do it, capitalists do it, industrialists do it - their standing in society, among their peers, in their professions and any number of subcultures or economic sectors is more important to them than the well-being of even children. Even their OWN children.

Boric acid shouldn't work for vaginal yeast infections - based on scientific assumptions and rules - yet it does. Most of the remedies here shouldn't work - but in a variety of circumstances, many of them do. Many illnesses are hyped up as horrific when they are no more deadly and no more difficult to treat than the sniffles.

We have capitalists and industrialists with hearts that are hundreds of times blacker than Hitler's and neighbors, political representatives, teachers, doctors and bosses whose are hundreds of times blacker than Manson's and if one's heart is NOT of the black variety, one truly is on one's own.

Do your own research. Don't dismiss anecdotal evidence because some black hearted marketing fan or expert claims it isn't evidence because the only reason they resent it is because they don't have any. Nobody goes onto social media singing the praises of marketing clients saying things like, "Oh, thank God! My liver is being destroyed, I'm probably going to die, spend all of my money on this poison they're giving me and still have my disease and feel like crap! Yeahh!! ". Don't believe all of the anecdotal stories - use your head. Or not - it's your choice.

Boric Acid Vs Borax
Posted by Tamis (Paris, France) on 10/26/2011

I just bought some borax from a local drugstore and was given a plastic bag with "borate na" written on it. Having read that some drugstores have given some boric acid instead of borax I asked the vendor if he was sure it was borax and not boric acid and he told me it was labeled "borate na" in his storage room.

Now I'm a cautious guy and I want to make sure this is indeed borax and not boric acid.

Is there a way to test this at home ? Like adding my powder to vinegar and see if it fizzles or not ?

I found out the The ph of Borax is about 9. 5 (so I guess it should fizzle in vinegar), boric acid has a ph of 3. 7 (http://www.merck-chemicals.com/boric-acid/MDA_CHEM-100765/p_HXeb.s1Lb5QAAAEW9.AfVhTl) (so I also guess it should not fizzle in vinegar).

Am I right about this?

Hi Tamis, I have not found that it has any fizz when adding it to cleaning mixes, but of course they are diluted. Anyway I have just added borax to ACV and there is no fizz, have also added it to cheap white vinegar and no fizz. You may have to test it with a ph meter, I got mine for about $15 (AU) including postage via ebay. Good luck.

Boric acid's chemical formula is H3BO3; there is no sodium (Na) in boric acid. The chemical formula for borax is Na2B4O7·10H2O or Na2[B4O5(OH)4]·8H2O. Other names for borax include sodium tetraborate, disodium tetraborate, and sodium borate. Thus, you have gotten your hands on an oddly named version of borax :)

I hope this message finds you very well. May I suggest you to change the heading underneath the BORAX remedy in your website: Boric Acid is not a synonym of Borax! It took me 2 days to find out my mistake: I have been drinking a solution of Boric Acid instead of Borax and I even made my husband to drink it... There is Sulfuric Acid added to Borax, then it is not a synonym for Borax.

We feel all right but please change your heading. I was a bit stupid and despaired and I didn't verify that information. The trouble is stupidity and despair is sadly common nowadays.

Hello Deirde:

About 4 years ago I sent you an email about the possible confusion between boric acid and borax. As I had some boric acid in my paint tool box and read about the borax cure in your so precious website, I was confident to give this boric acid to my husband. So he took it and probably had a healing crises that I didn't recognize as such at the time and I decided to research a bit more about boric acid. Too quickly I came across with the (not so accurate) wikipedia website and read that boric acid is toxic if ingested. That is why I wrote that email to you and I was probably in a state of fear and guilt of thinking that I could have poisoned my husband. Then you put the warning mentions on the borax page. A couple of days ago I went back to the borax page on earthclinc to prepare an article about borax as my husband and I continue to take it regularly and we want to spread the word about its fantastic ability of healing. There a saw some comments of people upset about the warnings of Boric Acid on the Borax page. Then I felt that those warnings were there only because of my experience which was only based on my lack of research and state of fear at the time...my stupidity.

Like the authors of those comments, I would like to ask you to remove those warning signs as it creates confusion that is detrimental to the perfectly safe use of borax and boric acid for healing.

Thank you so much in advance if you can do it and thank you a thousand times for the wonderful site that you have created.

Kind regards, Rosie

Boron Drops - How to Make

1 ml = 20 drops, so 100 ml = 2000 drops.

For 1 drop to equal 6 mg of Boron, 2000 drops must have 12000 mg of Boron or 1.2g. But Borax is not pure Boron. 25 to 30 mg of Borax contains 3 mg of Boron.

To make the calculation simpler I will choose 30 mg. That means 1 mg of Boron is contained in 10 mg of Borax. We need 1.2 g of Boron, which is in 12 g of Borax. You need 12g of Borax per 100 ml of water. I'm not sure that much Borax will dissolve in that much water. If not, add another 100 ml of water. Then you will have to use 2 drops to get your 6 mg of Boron.

I love your idea of Boron drops in a dropper.
Awesome.

I've been running the numbers different though.

If 1 ml = 20 Drops
That means there are 2000 drops in a 100ml bottle
So at 1 drop per dose that = 2000 DOSES

If
30mg Borax (0.03g) = 3mg Boron (0.003g)

That would mean you need 60grams Borax dissolved in 100 ml water to provide 2000 doses of 3mg Boron.

So to get around the problem is simple

Aim for 10 drops for each 3mg Boron dose.
2000 drops ÷ 10 = 200 doses of 3mg Boron

200 × 0.03(Borax in gram) = 6 grams Borax
Needs to be dissolved in 100ml water
Now that is very doable.

So if you want 3mg Boron a day.. just drop 10 drops in a glass of water.

That's a 200 day ( 3mg/day) supply
Or
100 day (6mg/day) supply

Yes a 5ml teaspoon takes 5ml/5gram water.
Keep in mind that
Water 1 cubic meter = 1000kg
Borax 1 cubic meter = 1730kg
(Thats 42.19 % more than water)
So if 5ml teaspoon takes 5grams water
A 5 ml teaspoon(not rounded) would take 7.10 grams of Borax

I won't stress the extra bit too much..as I've seen info that we could basically take one or two teaspoons a day without side effects.

But once again AWESOME IDEA for the dropper..would make life sooo much easier.

I have found Pure Therapro "Bio Boron" which is 30 mg per capsule. It is highly bioavailable..What do you think about this one and then taking 3-4 capsules a day?

Youtube has been very controlling and evil for turning off comments and replies in the videos. So had to resort to this to comment.

JOANN G,

That may be a little too much boron for a woman. You might try 1 or 2 capsules and see how you are doing after a month.

To Jerry who wrote: "Can I just take Boron Capsules?"

Things are dose dependent. All of the Boron supplements I find are rather low like less than or equal to about 10mg. 1/4 teaspoon per day though dissolved in water is between 115mg-158mg depending on the measuring spoon and how level or round your scoop is. That is a huge delta in dose. I have heard of 50mg-60mg tablets but have never actually seen them for sale.

In the late 1980's and early 1990's as a high school athlete the ones sold to athletes where 3mg-6mg - again far lower than what you get in a rather common dose of 1/4 teaspoon of borax in 1 liter of water sipped through the day!

I took 1/4 teaspoon per day the first 3 weeks then started to get diarrhea. I reduced it to 1/8 of a teaspoon a day for 2 weeks and all of the diarrhea went away completely. Some days I take 1/8 teaspoon some days I take a 1/4 and I am fine.

In theory anything is better than not taking borax so if someone was really sensitive or had IBS you could start at 1/16th of a teaspoon and slowly over weeks and months build up to 1/4 teaspoon. Evidence is showing that observational with individuals that you can get a lot of health benefits at varying does but the higher the dose the more consistent the results seem to be.

In post menopausal women a lot of individuals have found that reversing osteoporosis takes around 150mg of borax, vit and 400mg-600mg of magnesium per day to reverse it and that is a far higher dose than someone without osteoporosis needs. In those without severe fluorosis or osteoporosis that have healthy bone mass, 50mg per day seems to be the sweet spot but again you need magnesium and vitamin D3 in the diet. It is thought that enzymes and mineral metabolism is how boron works it's many benefits. Some people probably get enough minerals in their diet but for most Americans minerals and Vitamin D3 and iodine are almost always low. Iodine helps to keep your body from depositing fluoride in your bones.

Hi, just had a question not sure where I should ask questions sorry if wrong spot.

I take a multi vitamin that has 3mg of Boron in it.

Questions

1. Is there any extra benefit to borax over Boron? to me, the extra compounds of borax vs boron are only sodium, hydrogen, oxygen, would that make a difference?

2. if I took borax, would I maybe need to take less like 1 tsp of the 1 liter mix every second day or maybe just not take it all as im getting most of the benefits from the 3mg boron in my multi?

Any thoughts or help would be great.

I'm leaning towards leaving it at my 3mg boron multi as enough, but maybe some has tried both and could notice a difference.

Thanks

p.s great site.

Jonnybegood,

I have taken both and 3 mg of boron did nothing for my arthritis. Borax is approximately 11.3% boron. My borax dose is roughly 950 mg. So 950 x .113 = 107.35 mg of boron. I take this dose of borax each weekday and take the weekends off. This has kept my arthritis in remission for way over a decade. I tried halving the dose and it helped my arthritis, but did not keep it in remission.

I have taken boron supplements up to around 36 mg and that was not enough to work for me, but I have seen it work in others.

Boron Vs Borax

I am a retired chemist and have used boric acid and borax extensively, in the lab and as supplement, both oral and topical. Though extensively used as an effective ant poison when mixed with sugar, boric acid is quite safe and non irritating, indeed having been used for decades as an eye wash. Similarly borax is basically boric acid with a lot of sodium. Both contain boron about 22% for boric acid versus 11% for borax. And oral borax is instantly converted to boric acid in stomach acid. Contrary to medical hype attempting to block its use as an effective arthritis remedy in Australia and Europe where sales are banned, it is about as toxic as common salt and widely used baking soda in antacids.

The major problem is high sodium in borax for persons on low salt diets. Luckily it can still be bought also as fairly pure 20 Mule borax for use as an excellent detergent enhancer and an arthritis remedy at about 1/4 teaspoon borax or hard to find pure boric acid, best USP or NF grade, in quart of water taken in small portions over about 16 hrs. Google The Borax Conspiracy to get the facts and disregard medical hype seeking to outlaw this arthritis remedy, another miracle drug like aspirin.

Also chelated boron sold as 3 mg capsules may not be as effective.

Hello dear Herman,

I would like to ask you something about borax. I did make a solution as recomended by Ted's clinic, a small- teaspoon of borax gave into the 1 liter of water. I take then just a one third of tea spoon this solution, but I feel a burning then in my stomack, like acid. Is this normal by everyone, even I take very small of this solution, as you wrote it convert to boron acid in stomack. Now I take a boron 3mg tablets and by this is ok and also it makes bigger my free testosteron- just once a day I take it. Thank you, Ivan.

I have a question about Borax. Is there a specific reason we are using Borax rather than buying Boron supplements? Since everyone is having questions about dosing and how to mix it, wouldn't it be easier to take pre measured supplements? Is it for cost purposes or is there another reason?

Borax is simple and very inexpensive and probably offers more potential health benefit than boron alone. Borax is about 11% boron. If you try to buy boron types of supplements, the actual boron content will usually be very low compared to the amount in borax and you will have to take several supplements to reach a similar dose. Boron type supplements will cost more than borax.

Boron Vs Borax
Posted by Crista (Pekin, Illinois) on 10/03/2009

I have been researching the boron/borax issue because I want to use it, but have been quite afraid because of all the talk of it being toxic or poisonous. So I found a sientific article online that states this:

"Borax is necessary in small amounts for plant growth, one of the 16 essential nutrients. In larger amounts it is poisonous to plants, and the range can be small. For peaches, 1 ppm is required, but more than 5 ppm is toxic. If the signs of boron deficiency are noted in plants, a boron supplement can be applied. Borates can be used as non-toxic and non-specific herbicides. Borates are non-toxic to animals. The LD50 (dose at which there is 50% mortality) for humans is about 6 g per kg of body weight. Anything above 2 g is considered non-toxic, and borates are only 2 to 3 times as toxic as aspirin. Therefore, you are pretty safe unless you eat a pound and a half of borax for a snack. Borates are more toxic to insects than to mammals. The boranes and similar gaseous compounds are quite poisonous. As usual, it is not an element that is intrinsically poisonous, but toxicity depends on structure."

J.B. Calvert, (24 November 2002). Boron. Retrieved 03 October 2009, from http://mysite.du.edu/~jcalvert/phys/boron.htm

Sorry I am all about the references, plus this article has several quality references in it.

My husband was worried about me ingesting this so that is why I have done so much reasearch. I really feel it is safe, but even with this I am still a bit slow to try it. I will get up the courage soon. I just wanted to put this fact out there for all the people that argue about it. I think mainly I am afraid of the detox reaction I might have because my face has been pink for quite some time and if I put lotion on it or anything else it become very red till it is dry. I have washed my face twice with it so far though and it has at least dried up my acne. I also just used a bathroom cup to add water to some borax and then poored it on my hair. After rinsing then I shampooed. It did make it soft, although I tried to combine it with my body wash and it created a perm smell so I am going to do it by itself next time. Good luck everyone who tries Borax, but it is safe in small quantities.

I found a reference to using borax for arthritis quite by accident. Having had more than one bad experience with "possible side effects" from both prescription and otc drugs, my interest is arroused by any and all 'natural' remedies.

Like most people, I want to do plenty of research prior to taking the big step into the unknow. Along the way I happened to google "20 mule team borax" to see what the company itself had to say about their product. I was quite surprised to see this actual quote from their site.

"In earlier times, borax was proclaimed to be a magical crystal that was used to aid digestion, keep milk sweet and even cure epilepsy. Common sense and modern technology have brought us better solutions to these and other problems, but 20 Mule Team Borax still has a place in your home."

I'm not a rocket scientist, but it seems to me that if it can be used to sweeten milk, aid digestion and cure (not help, but cure) epilepsy, in the words of the company that sells it, it would seemingly be safe to mix small amounts with water and consume.

I just picked up a box and will be giving it a try post haste. I also plan to give my aging dog a taste of it for his arthritis.

Glad I found this site, again an accident, and plan to do a lot of reading and perhaps a little contributing.

I have been reading all day. I use borax to clean my house and have not had to deal with insects inside our home since I sprinkled it under the sinks. Today, I mixed a 1/8 tsp per liter into a 9.6 liter container and began drinking it because the literature says it removes fluoride from the tap water and the human body. Fluoride poisoning has destroyed many lives and no one has been brought to justice to-date. I choose to live as healthy as possible and the more I learn, the more I change to help myself and those around me. Peace to all.

I believe Ted has answered this before on here. If I recall right, he moonlighted on a job where they made boron supplements. The boron supplements are made from borax (boron). The difference is that the supplements have added fillers and may not be absorbed by the body as well. Perhaps chewing the pill or crushing it will help it absorb better. Borax is cheaper than buying the supplements as well, but the choice has to be yours to make.

Hi Ted! God bless you for taking the time to help people with their health problems. I tried the borax on myself and feel soooo much better; my symptoms were/are similar to lupus, and Alzheimer's runs in my family. Since I tried the borax in water the other day (three days total, about 1/4 teaspoon per liter per day) I feel like my mind is much clearer and my stomach feels much lighter and more comfortable. My head used to feel very foggy, and I hurt all over. I also take 4,000mg or more ascorbic acid tablets and eat as many radishes as I can stomach. I was on Risperidone and Zoloft for two years and they didn't work nearly as well or as quickly. I feel 90% to 95% better and am absolutely amazed and delighted.

My question is, would you consider borax safe for cats? I would like to try adding it to my cat's water bowl. She's an indoor cat (used to live outside) who is 14 years old and doesn't have the energy or cheerfulness the other cats do.

Better But With Side Effects

Hi, I have suffered with various problems for the last 15 years, ME, chronic fatigue and diarrhea, endometriosis, adhesions on my bowel. I have not taken the advice of my doctor to go on hormonel treatment to stop my periods because all intervention that I have had in the past seem to have made things worse. I have spent a lot of money on alternative health trying to make things better but nothing as helped. I thought that taking the Borax might help though I was quite nervous about this. I bought a very pure one and I used about half the recommened dose. I only put a pinch in a quarter of a liter of water. I must have drank about half of a small glass and I stopped because I started to get some reactions.

Firstly my stomach is always swollen and sore but it almost became worse straight away, with a bubbling noise all over, later that night all painful areas flared up and I was coughing a lot, it was like my body was trying to clear something. Today I have terrible diarrhea to the point of passing water, whilst my stools are always loose, this is different, I have had to run to the toilet within an hour of eating. Because my stomach is tender anyway, things are really painful today. The one thing that does feel quite a bit better is that I can breath, for the first time in ages my sinuses feel clear. I suffer from allergies and my nose is always blocked. I cannot believe that such a small dose of anything could have such an impact and wonder why you think this might be? I read a lot of stuff here about the borax before taking it and I know that some people do have diarrhea as a side effect, though I did hear someone else say that it made their stools darker and more formed which was my hope. I just can't believe that something this small, it was a pinch in loads of water of which I only drank a small amount could do this. I don't think I can carry on and I am wondering what to do. It seems that what ever I try just seems to make it worse. I tried peppermint oil a while ago which seemed to help a bit but then the diarrhea got worse and my food started come through undigested. Please any idea as to what might be happening here and why such a small dose could have caused this to happen?

Thanks Linda

I have been taking the borax for a couple of weeks now. Started very slow because of severe reactions. The reactions died down after a few days and I started to get really positive results in terms of energy. I felt like I had more energy than I have had for years and for the first time in years I was able to exercise, which felt great. I also had less trouble with allergies. However the pain from my endometriosis is much worse and I am due to have my period in a day or so and the pain is almost unbearable. This also happened when I took progestrone cream which is meant to help. I feel really sad because I felt like I was getting my life back. I have read that borax increases estrogen which is not good for endometrosis but I have also read that it should balance estrogen rather than increase it. Can Ted or someone please please help me? Linda

Linda, It sounds like you might be helped by drinking 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a large glass of water once or twice per day. Go to the Apple Cider Vinegar Cures page https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/acvinegar.html and see if that gives you any ideas.

This is the principle of homeopathy micro amounts of the remedy in pills or liquid after it's diluted and drop shaken many times. Borax is a homeopathic remedy it works with no side effects. I have taken it.

Borax: Great to clear calcifying of the body.

Only been using Borax for a short time but have noticed a difference in our health all ready. Prior to using Borax were using Bicarb daily for alkaline and health benefits but Borax we feel is superior.

Better But With Side Effects

Hi all,

I'm implementing boron to heal from chronic candida. I started with Borax (made the solution of 1/8 teaspoon per liter of water). I got through a liter over the course of five days, could not take any more than that. Kidney pain, headache, nausea, diarrhea, depression but also improvement in candida condition.

I'd rather take Boron but the article I read by Walter Last is that he doesn't expect it works against Candida, as it's not in ionic form. Would taking an ionic form of Boron work??

Feeling thrilled and defeated... as I really want this to work and feel this is the answer. Does anybody have success with the Boron tablets, or ionic Boron?

Hi..

Is it possible that your pains are due to the detox effect?
And maybe you should reduce your intake of Borax to the smaller amounts?

What if you reduce the days you take it like do it every second day?

Or perhaps try some other detox methods like parasite cleansing etc which can be done over shorter periods so that possibly you can go back to the Borax remedy later on.. You know your own body, so u have to educate yourself first before you decide what to do..

Maybe try taking some charcoal to help with die off symptoms. It helps kidneys too.

The symptoms you were experiencing was the candida die off. It makes you feel horrible but that's how you know that it is working.

How are you?? Myself, wife and children (5,9&10) got covid in Dec 2021 and have tried practically everything to cure us and nothing.. I believe because we're unvaxxed, we have an overgrowth of Candida. Our tongues are white, new allergies, fatigue and now endothelial dysfunction, but for me I am further into the infection, I feel like I'm having a mycotic aneurism that's due to fungus… 😩

Hi Daniel,

I have been reading about Borax/Boron for quite some hours now and been taking notes. I am replying to you because you only posted your message a few days ago, so sure you will be looking for any replies?

Please research Monolaurin and BHT. Monolaurin is lipid enveloped as is Covid19. It can inactivate enveloped viruses, bacteria, protozea, Candida Albicans, herpes, parasite guardia etc.etc. It is antimocrobial, anti-viral etc.etc. Seeing as you have Candida, this could well help you. It is relatively cheap and can be purchased from Ebay or Amazon. So you should be able to get it from Amazon.com It is supposed to be very good as it fights Covid 19 because it is lipid enveloped as is Covid 19. BHT is similar. I could write lots about it as I am a medical researcher and make notes on anything I believe could help anyone. I have not had a single vaccination, I refuse to have them, and have never caught Covid, yet my son Paul, his wife and his two teenage daughters all caught covid and all have had 3 vaccinations. In fact everyone know that has been vaccinated all came down with Covid, my friend lost her husband to it. Anyway, I know you have posted your query and problem under Borax? Will borax cure it? I haven't the slightest idea? But please do check out Monolaurin. I think I bought mine from a store called 5greens on ebay? Every single thing they sell is free from every additive going, and very clean. And prices very reasonable, I have purchased 3 different items from this store only because there are no additives. Monolaurin can be taken on a regular basis, no serious side effects, it s linked with coconut oil! Alternatively have you put into where it says at the top "search earth clinic?" Try putting in something like "Help Wanted For Candida Problems" and this should take you to people who have Candida. You can read what they have been using? Your problem sounds rather serious, so look for people who are similar to you, it could help you a lot. Don't be afraid to ask questions. This is a wonderful site, and there are many people ready to assist if they can or give advise.

Hope my reply was of some help to you. Best wishes Rosina from the United Kingdom x
