Anyways, need to figure out how to get rid of the biofilms and get what ever I need to up all the way in at the top of all my sinuses...The infection is basically where if you were to snort some snuff..and u feel the sting at the top of the head...its all there. What can I do? I've done a navage with borax...h202.essential oils GSE salt...I mean almost everything...ive even done turpentine. OUCH! ...id really appreciate some help!

Dear Jedeyemeyend,

My first thought would be coconut oil. You can massage it over your sinuses on your face. Several times a day. And you can take it internally. Internal use has helped my son with many a sinus infection. 1 tablespoon 3 times a day, unless you are sensitive to it or a small person, then cut the amount in half. It dissolves the lipid coat on viruses. You have to use the cold pressed stuff that smells like coconuts.

My second thought is Mucinex. It is over the counter and helps to thin the mucous. It will help it to drain. Follow package directions.

My third thought is vinegar tea.

  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 6 ounces hot water

Mix together. If you can tolerate spicy stuff, add some cayenne or tabasco; it will make your nose run!

My final thought is turmeric. It is a natural antibiotic. I take 2 4 times a day for infections.

I am assuming that you are avoiding dairy, especially ice cream at this time, if not, please try that, too. (Dairy tends to increase mucous and Earth Clinic has a whole page devoted to the link between ice cream and sinus infections.)

I hope you feel better soon! Keep us posted!

For any sinus problem for me, I lay on the bed or sofa, hang my head off the side so that it's upside down, and put drops of colloidal silver in until I feel it go way up in my sinuses. And yes I feel it way up in my head! It will burn or sting a bit. I do it two or 3 times a day and it really works! You can find cs at health food stores, and even at walmart! I make my own. But that's how I used to get it.

Hi I have just read your message I think methylene blue in a nebulizer could help you greatly.

0.1% and around 15 mins alternate nose and mouth breathing.

Hope it helps.

Mix 6 drops of tea tree oil with 18 drops of water. When you go to bed and are lying down use a dropper to put this mixture in each side of your nostrils. Repeat each night until issue is resolved. This is an approximate amount of mixture which you may have to increase. This will probably cause sneezing. Great remedy for sinus related issues.

Try steaming with apple cider vinegar. It breaks down biofilms apparently.
