5 out of 5 stars

Ted recommeded treatments for keloid scars. I tried the apple cider vinegar treatment first without any noticeable effect. Then I tried the teatree oil/lavendar oil treatment with very little effect. And now I am trying a third suggestion. Ted actually said to use a potassium carbonate/hydrogen peroxide paste on the keloid. I didn't have potassium carbonate so I substituted it with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and made a paste with the 3%hydrogen peroxide. I notice a change in less than 2 hrs. My keloid scar has almost flattened now and is fading a little. I have been using this treatment for 6 days now. This treatment has done as well or even better job than the steroid shot injections I have endured over the years trying to get rid of this darn keloid. It's interesting that keloid stings and itches for about 5 minutes after applying the soln. but does nothing when applied to my normal skin. Thanks so much Ted! You're the best! I will share your suggestions with other keloid sufferers! Thanks Earth Clinic for your website, too.

If you can't find food grade peroxide in India at a health food store, try going to a beauty supply store and buy 30% peroxide that you'd use for coloring hair. Just don't drink it!It may very well be the same thing they sell at 35%, but much much cheaper. I am using 30% peroxide from a beauty supply store to treat nail fungus (on a q-tip) and it appears to be working.

I've tried the baking soda/hydrogen peroxide solution for my keloid. I've mixed both, I applied the solution on my keloid but it dries up very fast (it's like a cement on my keloid) I've noticed a very gradual effect. Did I've done the right thing? How to make a baking soda/hydrogen peroxide paste solution? Hope you can help me with it. Thanks.

I have plantar fibroma. I tried vitamin e for the last 8 weeks. 400 iu of pure E which supplied the complete E family twice a day. I poked a hole in the gel cap and applied it to the plantar fibroma. I then rubbed on some vicks vapor rub and applied the vapor rub to a band aid and put it on top of the fibroma. After 8 weeks, I see no change and I am ready for another solution. Surgery is not an option because these fibromas come back twice as large. Has anyone ever gotten rid of a plantar fibroma? I would like to try topically applied remedies. I would like to hear from someone with a success story and how they did it or any advice.

My husband suffers from keloid scars with numerous keloids on his chest and back shoulders. What methods of home treatment for keloids have worked for you? I found a site that lists a variety of different home remedies for treating keloid scars and was wondering what ones were effective. He is currently using a vitamin e oil regimine which has drastically reduced the itchiness and they have become softer. For more home remedies for keloids visit.

Was wondering which ones really show results.
