In gist if you'd like to check this out yourself. Cure for diarrhea/cholera is maintaining osmotic pressure/electrolytes. In 1 quart of water add I tablespoon of sugar (any sweet would do, maple syrup, honey, etc.,) and 1 teaspoon of salt. Drink continually until the infection has passed. This will save lives. This is a very old remedy for diarrhea works well with children and adults. Take 1/2 (half)ltr Pepsi or Coke add 1 teaspoon of salt and drink it slow (sips) within the hour.
