Hi Warjov ; In addition to the brilliant suggestions made here to you, I hope to add another. There is a Dr. Neubrander, drneubrander. Com, who has been working with kids along the spectrum for decades. He uses a wide variety of therapies, and if you go to the website, you can choose from 150 videos of parents that describe their results, with an achingly poignant honesty. Dr. Neubrander reports that 94% of his patients respond in a positive way, some dramatically, to subcutaneous injections of methylcobalamin, a type of vitamin B12, at approx. 1mg. Given every 3 days. (some children need it more often.) He's written very specific directions about this protocol that may be followed by other doctors, should they be curious. It may be worth a search.

Hi Warjov, also chlorella and spirulina that I am giving to my son also detox the body from heavy metals. There is much info on that. They also contain most minerals and vitamins and are regarded as a "food". They also help the body digest fats.

I am going to also start the B12 regimen. There is much info on that. I had started with and will start again. Thanks for the reminder Connie.

Yesterday afternoon I also put some iodine on my son's arm to see how deficient he was in it. This morning it was completely gone, no trace so obviously there is a problem there. Funny though he woke up around midnight and seemed more alert than usual and even said things he never says before (not sure if related to the iodine or not). Iodine levels can raise a child's IQ level and low levels will also lower IQ so I am thinking that may be an issue with my son. Maybe you could look at that as well. I will have to check where I can get iodine levels checked.

I am putting more iodine on him today and see if it also vanishes quickly. It is meant to stay on the skin for 48 hours if you don't have a deficiency. His vanished within 9 hours.

Hi Debbie, I have a 5 year old autistic child and I am keen to try biomedicine for him. Can you tell me which biomedical doctor are you seeing for your son? Thanks.

I would strongly advise against prescribing B12 to children without first consulting both your GP and a local medical clinic. B-12 (or methylcobalamin) produces the highly toxic methylmercury as a part of it's action. Methylmercury causes neurodegeneration and, by strongly binding to proteins, is highly toxic towards tissues. The organomercury compounds are best left in the cell tissues where the body can isolate and deal with them. The only reason methylcobalamin is used in medical treatment is to help improve the strength of the peripheral nervous system for the disorder peripheral neuropathy. The best thing (I speak from both scientific research and personal experience here) for anyone with Autism is a wide and varied lifestyle, a good TLA or other support staff in school and positive attention. There is little else that you can do. This support will often help autistic children develop compensatory methods for dealing with problems. Speak to a local autism support trust, and they will help you more. Be careful not to get dragged into expensive (and more often than not, bogus) medical treatment, as a great majority of them are completely irrelevant.

This is an arbitrary view not based on fact. Methylmercury is best OUT of the body. The tissue does what it can to isolate it until it can be removed. I will say it is likely a great idea to have a plan for detox available before and following any type of high dose b12 for intents of mercury mobilization, and not to do it without a plan, for myself anyways. I personally tend to try to open up the detox pathways with many means.

But don't sit here and tell people there's nothing you can do for Autistic children, whilst simultaneously spreading fear and doubt about removing heavy metals from the body.

Nothing you can do.

Sounds quite the opposite from most peoples' stories. If they're such bogus, why are there so many success stories?

Follow this guy's advice and don't act, you won't see results.
