Why the wait of 1 hour after drinking or 3/4 after eating? What will happen if done right after a meal or snack? Coco

I don't have the exact answer to your question of why it is recommended to wait after eating or drinking before you oil pull, but one possible theory is if you pull with a full stomach, the oil will have double duty. It will be pulling toxins from the food in your stomach as well as other parts of your system. I enjoy oil pulling and I can tell the difference in my congestion problems immediately afterwards.

I've been wondering the same.... I'm actually wondering if we won't produce as much saliva after we've eaten.... And I think I read that it helps to digest the oil... So better when we're a little hungry.
