I dont know if the reason was ACV or what? I have just related to what happend to me- I have as yet not recovered from the bad knee and had another surgery this time with atroscopy with micro fracture, this was to start the stem cells to kick in- Well it did not help at all and maybe in a few years will have to go for a knee replacement- The other knee is also painful but has had no surgery
This post is to RELATE my experience, I may be wrong but then I thought of sharing it with all of you-Thanks

Hi Maple. Being overweight or obese will most ALWAYS lead to knee problems. My husband, (who is normal weight) had knee surgery 3 years before he started taking ACV....Age or weight WILL get a person if they are prone to having a bad knee. Not a lot of sense in scaring people away from the ACV, now is there? I have been taking it every day for over 2 years at 1oz a day, and osteoperosis runs in my family....My knees are FINE. One of my best features, actually. LolReplied By Francisca (Michelbach-le-bas, Alsace, France) on 02/02/2011
Hi Carly, I think that a lot of people here sometimes see side effects where there are none but I said this a little while ago. One has to be careful signaling side effects. It is not because you have started a new treatment that any little pain is connected to it. As I said before people should stop the treatment, start again and make sure they get the same complaint, if not it is not connected and listen well to their bodies too! The side effects I read about OP, for example, sound rather exagerated to me. That said I have no idea about the side effects or not from ACV but I suppose everybody is different. I tried it for a little while but lost weight while I shouldn't lose any so I won't be trying again any time soon.As far as your husband's knee goes I don't know his age but age doesn't have to give you a bad knee. I had one while I was still quite young but solved it without an operation (see my postings on that subject). I found a health food shop where the doctor gave me two treatments with electrodes and I have been completely well for 5 1/2 years. Of course your husband can have had a problem different from mine but I was in quite a bit of pain especially when I went down stairs (it was a classical knee problem). The doctors announced that the only solution was medication for a number of years and then a new knee..... Well, maybe one day in the far future, not any time soon anyway! I think that people accept ailments far to easily as being part of old age and all the treatments suggested by the doctors, especially operations, this is the mindset of our society!

Side effect of ACV- I started taking a couple teaspoons of ACV in water to help with my TERRIBLE allergies (itchy eyes, sinus headache, etc. ) Before I began taking the vinegar, I had suffered from a yeast infection and later found out I was allergic to a certain brand of toilet paper. I lost the TP and the infection cleared. However, after taking the ACV, I got a bad rash again and the yeast symptoms returned very severely. The vaginal rash was red, raised, puffy, sore- gross. To treat the infection, I used sitz baths (as I usually do) using ACV, salt and sometimes peroxide. (Not all at once! In different baths. ) The ACV baths caused inflammation to the rash like I had not experienced before. Now I have stopped taking the ACV and the rash is slowly subsiding. I think I must be allergic to the ACV?! I feel like a lot of people who report negative side effects on here are shot down, sometimes quite harshly. The truth is not everything works for everyone. I can eat mango, while my friend will suffer greatly from it. But I would never say to him "how can you say mango is bad for you? Look how delicious it is for me!" In the same way, ACV may not work positively for everyone. I would love to hear back from anyone who has had a yeast infection CAUSED by ACV. I am not 100% sure of the correlation, but the evidence points to it. When I am free of the rash, I may try taking the ACV again, just to see if the rash comes back- then I would know for sure.
To address anyone who will say I eat poorly or whatever- I eat almost only whole foods, assorted vegetables, whole grains, organic egg for breakfast, very limited fruit intake, extremely limited dairy intake (only a little cheese sometimes), I take probiotics, and only a very occasional aspirin. I also run/walk/jog at least 40-60 minutes every day.

Its possible that you are seeing detox symptoms... The skin is the last place you will see something in the body trying to get out, show up.... I would slow down, and be patient. Drink EXTRA water to help flush the body too. I've also read that lymphatic issues/blockages will show up as rashes.
