Vitamin C works very well for BV and there are studies from doctors done in iran that prove it. I was desperate and figured "hey ive done all the metrogel and clindamycin why not something that solves the root of the problem?"

*at first I used a cheap target brand with a bunch of fillers and cut a 500mg pill in half-i ended up with a yeast infection. SO THEN I WENT TO THE VITAMIN STORE AND GOT 250MG TABLETS THERE. About $4. 00 Worked like a charm! The burning and yellowish discharge finally went away for BV. I started with inserting 250mg two times a day for 10 days, and for the next 20 I think im going to do it once a day. Just to be sure im acidified enough for the good bacteria to grow/the bad ones to die. Warning-may irritate BV infected tissues at first. It stung at first but I kept up with treatment anyway. Vitamin E oil helps to soothe the area.

I tried half of a vitamin pill. I inserted it as far as I could.. I then tried to go to sleep. When I turned over to my side I was hit with the worst pain EVER. My word the burn was intense. I was screaming. I was seriously screaming on the bathroom floor with a cold rag on my lady parts. Trying to push it out. Ouch...
