I was painting my knee with it to try to resolve a spur and I thought I'd baste it, cover it in plastic so lugals didn't evaporate it would work better. It gave me a chemical burn, easy does it .
Also, citric acid will clear the iodine stain, so if you have to go somewhere, you just put a little in some water and wipe it easily. Unsweetened Kool aid has citric acid.
Once I stained my new sheets with lugals so I mixed unsweetened kool aid with water and iodine stain went away but left red stain which dawn dish soap cleared, so now I use lemon Kool aid and just a regular laundry washed the yellow dye away .
