Hi ...I researched the web for any help for a viral infection and found this site ....Thank GOD, for help with my GH.

I have been having outbreaks for 17 years and have tried everything that the pharmacy and the doctors offered to no avail. Apple Cider Vinegar is the first thing that has ever done any real good. I had a breakout that was piggybacked on a prior one and was experiencing a new breakout coming ...about 2 months of this going on... and I read all the reports here and decided to try the Apple Cider Vinegar.

I am keeping the ACV in a small cup with a lid in my bathroom and everytime I use the toilet I take a cotton swab and dip it into the ACV and then directly onto the sores that are located from my bottom to my front. I would guess about 10 sores and I apply the ACV about 10 times a day.

It burns for a moment but I am pleased to say that all the sores are clearing up. 3 days! I am pain free for the first time in months! Apple Cider Vinegar Works .... Thank you for this forum.

Does this mean you are not taking any medications prescribed by Dr's like Valtrex, etc... ? and just trying the natural way with the vinegar?

I tried ACV and for the first few days it did help with some relief of swelling and itching but aft 4 days now the area is irratated and dried out and almost burnt and the lesions are still as they would be normally at this phase so I would say AVC helps but is not anything outstanding or great. As a matter of fact I think it sort of made things a little worse, so use carefully.

I have to agree. I am currently suffering an outbreak and have tried several of these remedies in hope of some relief. I applied ACV on a cotton ball to my sores. It has burned the skin and it looks awful!!! It has definitely made it a lot worse for me. I do, however, believe in ACV. I drink 2 table spoons in distilled water twice a day for my allergies and is helped there. Just don't put it on your skin!! Or at least use caution!!!

You need to dilute it. It burned me as well while I was using it without diluting. Works perfect now. Also oil of oregano.
