Better But With Side Effects

Started taking a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a pint of water (large tumbler) in the hope it would help with both an ovarian cyst and a fibroid. I like to take it a sip at a time and the drink usually lasts me all evening.

Ovarian cyst "disappeared" within three weeks of taking (not sure if it would have gone on it's own but my consultant was pretty surprised to see it had disappeared at my follow-up appointment). Also my bloated stomach has become much flatter and less flabby!

Have continued taking ACV in the hope it will also lessen the size of the fibroid I have, although since taking it I am experiencing cramps in the area that my fibroid is in. I am persevering with it for now in the hope that the slight cramping feeling is due to the area being "detoxed". Am also experiencing a slight "heavy" feeling in my legs - but nothing too uncomfortable.

Out of curiosity has anyone else experienced cramping in this area (legs, womb) as a result of taking?

I was wondering just what does a fibroid feel like? I regularly take apple cider vinegar and I had cysts but never had any issues with them, pain wise. However I do sometimes have cramping near my pelvic area and I have to be careful not to lift anything heavy or push anything with my legs or the cramps come back. And it it very uncomfortable! I also notice if I stand too long or bend over too much I have pain at night. The thing that seems to help is staying away from sugar. But I really don't know for sure what is wrong...does it sound like fibroids? Help anybody!

When I had a fibroid, these were the things that I felt: My period was heavier than usual. I would get bloated really easily after eating, especially after eating dairy. I sometimes would feel a "pulling" sensation kind of off center in my stomach area. On one occasion during sexual relations with my hubby, I felt this uncomfortable sharpish pain in my vagina.

Changing my diet did seem to alleviate some of the symptoms (like the bloating).

But everyone's symptoms can be different. I have read that a fibroid can cause back pain. It really depends on the size and location of the fibroid.

I hope my answer helped somewhat :-)

Hi! I'm suffering from ovarian cyst. I only started using ACV today, I found Heinz at the local grocery store. Will this brand work? Can I use more than once a day and will increased dosage mean increased results.

Petra, if you take ACV, make sure it is organic found in health food stores and not a regular grocery store brand. The other brands are filtered, and it is the unfiltered part, the mother, that is good for you. I am also taking it to help with ovarian cysts. Good luck!

I tried ACV for my right ovary cyst. Tried for a month. And then went for follow-up next month. Its vanished. My doctor was surprised. I am very happy. I have decided to continue taking this every alternate days to avoid future problems. Its definitely working.

Hi,
I am having 1.7 and 1 cm cyst in both ovaries. I have started taking Apple Cider Vinegar from last two weeks. It has stopped my bleeding problem as I was having extremely irregular periods from last 2-3 months. Now my bleeding is gone by taking ACV but from past two days I am having pain in my lower body (lower back abdomen and thighs). I read the TED's remedy, he has asked to take baking soda with ACV. So from past two days I am taking baking soda with ACV. I am really worried, it seems like my cysts are growing cuz I did not feel this kind of pain before. Is it because I took baking soda with ACV? Should I take ACV alone?

My holistic coach recommended I try these herbal remedies listed below. I purchased the herbs from a store here in NYC, followed the instructions listed below and I am free from the cysts.

CHAPARRAL CAPSULES

1 part chaparral powder
1 part pau d' arco powder
1 part yellow dock root powder
1 part vitex (chaste berry) powder

LIVER CLEANSE TEA

1 part yellow dock root
2 parts wild yam root
1 part dandelion root
1 part oregon grape root
2 parts burdock root
1 part vitex (chaste berry)
Cinnamon, ginger, sassafras, and orange peel to taste.

*You need enough to drink 3-4 cups a day for about the same length of time.

VAGINAL BOLUS (INSERTS)

1 part yellow dock root powder
1 part chaparral leaf powder
1 part goldenseal root powder
3 parts slippery elm bark powder
1 part witch hazel bark powder
1/2 part black walnut hull powder
1 to 2 drops of essential oil of myrhh and/or tea tree oil

You will make these with coconut oil and need enough to Insert one, 5 nights in a row, rest for 2 nights and then reapply for another 5 nights.
(for several weeks)

You will also need:
non gelatin capsules (available at whole foods)
castor oil
cotton flannel
Spirulina Greens Powder,
virgin coconut oil

-The recommendations for dissolving cysts is that you cut out:
sugar, white flour, caffeine, chocolate, eggs, all dairy except yogurt and most animal fats out of your diet and focus on dark leafy greens, whole grains, and sulfur containing amino acids such as garlic, onions, and beans.

Also, incorporate Castor Oil packs while doing these remedies.

I also purchased the book where these remedies came from. The name of the book is Herbal Healing for Women and the author is Rosemary Gladstar. This book is great and I find it quite useful.

Hi Hippie Vicky, Congrats!! On your succes that you are free from the cysts. I am going to use the same herbs too. I have also ovarian cysts and my doc ordered surgery telling me it is the only options I have. It has been a year now and searching for remedies not to have surgery. I started taking Molasas, aloe vera and beets together, then dirnk ACV right after. I some times have a pain sometimes not. thank you. It is really helpfull message. I will post my result.

Goodluck for those of you suffering from the cyst pain with this remedy.

Hi Yana, pain in legs is a usual fibroid symptom. Well, as Annie says, every woman can have different ones. Also fibroids, like cysts, can be cured naturally. Cider vinegar is great but probably only one piece in the cure puzzle. I would be seriously thinking about avoiding certain foods that contain hormones, like meat, eggs, dairy products, and foods with chemicals and additives. It may sound strange but the hormones from the food comes to your body, they circle in your blood and end up in organs and places where they can cause growths connected to hormones, such as fibroids or ovarian cysts. Hi, I'm Gia and today I was told I have a 7 inch cyst on my right ovary. I'm 5 weeks pregnant so I'm wondering what will happen if I try the ACV mixed with water? My doctor states he just wants to watch it and surgery is not needed.

Hi, I wouldn't worry about the cyst too much while you are pregnant, I remember noticing one on my first scan that was bigger than the baby but it shrank back down again after the birth. I was told it's very common x
