For years I have used Hydrogen Peroxide for my boils. I soak a cotton balls or a gauze pad in HP and place it directly on the boil and then secure with tape and leave overnight. I repeat this for a couple nights and then the opening to the boil stretches open and a dry-cottage-cheese-type substance with a horrendous smell gets pushed out. This method seems to discolor the skin of the area red but seems to fade over the next year or so but the best part of this treatment seems to be that there is little or no core left over under the skin. When there is a core left over the boil seems to recur eventually. The ones I have used this treatment on have never recurred on me.Replied By Merryanne (Orange City, Florida, Usa) on 06/09/2010
If you have trouble with boils, try eliminating all soy products.
