Undiagnosed Illness

I am writing to see if someone could help with my sister's situation, since this website has become an invaluable resource to me. She has been struggling with a fibromyalgia type illness for close to a year and a half now (not officially diagnosed). She is in her mid-teens and has had to drop out of school because of the weakness and fatigue, as well as the fact that she comes down with every little bug. She also says she has all over body aches and pains, as well as frequent headaches. It all started when she got mono, which was diagnosed early in 2008. This lasted many months and during that time she also had some swelling/enlargement of her spleen, which has since abated. The mono was going around among her friends, and probably contracted from sharing a drink. However, instead of getting better her situation progressively got worse.

Following up she was sent to a number of doctors. They were quick to diagnose her with depression, however, that just isn't the sister I know. She was down, yes, but only because she was sick. So they put her on cymbalta and they insisted on pushing the dose up to I think 90 mg, and she's a TINY person, approx 90 lbs and under five foot. This did not improve the situation and she's been lowered to about half dose. The doctor who prescribed it refused to think there was any other problem anyways. Other doctors, other tests and one finds she's dangerously low in vitamin D, so she starts on vitamin D supplements, megadoses taken once a week. It helps, but still she remains bedridden for the most part. At times antibiotics are prescribed and these seem to help, which makes it seem maybe there is a low grade chronic infection? Not sure.

Over time, I have done research and I can say some of it can likely be attributed to poor eating habits. But then we realize she had the gardasil vaccine shortly before ALL of this started. I don't want to say definitively that this is the cause, but it seems to strange to be a coincidence. Especially with everything I've been reading. Also, I don't want to get stuck on that diagnosis as the problem and overlook other possibilities.

Also, recently she took some immune system tests which showed that her immune system is responsive, it is not responding normally, which raises questions of autoimmune disorders?

What I'm really looking for is help and insight to get to the bottom of this and help to make her well again. Lately after a recent round of antibiotics she's doing better, but she has good and bad days and still mainly rests in bed. I refuse to believe there is nothing we can do, and also the doctors have unfortunately been relatively worthless and even have sometimes insinuated that my sister is faking and has duped my mom into believing it. I know she's not faking and I want her to be back to her old self. Please if anyone could help I would most greatly appreciate it! Thank you for your time and thank you for this wonderful site.

Bee, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. How horrible. There was a case in England a few days ago about a young girl who died shortly after the Gardasil shot, but they came out 24 hours later saying she had a pre-existing medical condition. I don't quite believe that. There must be many more side effects from the Gardasil shot than what we can locate though a search engine. The pharmaceutical companies know how to hide damaging information from appearing in search engine results. You really have to dig to uncover the facts.

The one remedy that comes to mind for your sister that may be helpful is the hydrogen peroxide inhalation method. Please keep us updated on your sister's condition. Best, Tara.

I was thinking that the teenage girl who has energy and depression problems can try taking turmeric regularly. I have been thinking about that myself but haven't started it yet. I read on EC that turmeric is good to help autoimmune issues. (I need to bust out of a rut to incorporate new supplements.) I also read somewhere about adding black pepper to the turmeric might be important for assimilation. I bought turmeric at an Indian market and it was cheap.

Another thing I think is she might benefit from taking some food grade h2o2. If she doesn't have food grade yet then she could bathe in 3% h2o2 by pouring it on her body. I think it will get in her system and fight pathogens and increase her energy. She can also do the cure of the food grade h2o2 in the fine mist nasal spray bottle. What is the man's name who posted that? She might make magnesium oil and put it on her skin like we did. It has antiviral and antifungal properties. Oral magnesium malate will help, I believe. George Eby cured himself of depression with magnesium. She can read about that on the internet. She can search these things on EC also. I would remind her not to take vitamin C near the h2o2 because they will cancel each other out. Oxidant and antioxidant.

If she did get contaminated with the vaccine, I think those two supplements may be a good place to begin. But I don't know much, I just know what I would do and have done. I would clean up my diet drastically. Hippocrates said let your food be your medicine and let your medicine be your food. Calcium encourages viral growth so I would cut the milk and cheese. Sugar is a culprit and its common knowledge that it encourages fungus and yeast.

She might look into taking iodine. Dr. Brownstein has good info on that.

The vaccination may have been contaminated with a virus or fungus or bacteria or who knows what. So think along the lines of cleaning up the body and prepare it to fight its own battles. Also she might try taking oral magnesium malate, selenium, vitamin c along with the vit d she's taking.

Also lecithin granules is good to take between meals Ted says. Like oil pulling. Oh yea she can oil pull. Organic sesame oil is good. That will probably help.

I guess I'm thinking along the lines that she needs to detox from the vaccine. And don't get another one!

Her healing will be a process I'm sure. If she can just start by doing the things she has available and then add others as she can and see if she notices improvement.

If she will also relax and speak to her Creator and then listen, she might get some insight on what's going on with her.

I hope to hear a report that she gets her energy back.

Jane

In addition to the Vitamin D-3, which is critical, please make sure the girl is getting enough Vitamin C, because the immune system won't function properly without it. Not only that, but Mono is a virus, and viruses deplete the body of Vitamin C, so she could have scurvy and not even know it. Amazingly enough, doctors are taught that most people get enough Vitmin C, even though that is NOT true (of course, to doctors, "enough" is a mere 60mg/day), and since they assume that most people are Vitamin C sufficient, they don't even recognize the signs of scurvy, even when they are staring them in the face.

Thank you to all for your thoughtful comments, I will be sure to pass this information along. I know she was taking some chewable vitamin c that I also take, I turned her on to a certain brand that tastes really good which made it much easier to remember to take. She's always been picky about tastes and textures. I will have to check if she still takes that.

Also, I did just hear about the case of the girl dying after receiving the vaccine. I've seen other people write about similar experiences, and though the vaccine companies aren't coming out with this information, I just don't think all these cases are coincidence. Also, she had more vaccines than me or my other sister and she's gotten the newer vaccines which weren't around when we were younger, like the chicken pox vaccine, etc. And she's the only one who has had these problems. Although she was more picky about eating nutritious food than us, so I'm sure that didn't help either. It scares me to think about all the vaccines they are pushing nowadays, with questionable efficacy and many health risks. It's just so important for people to realize that they shouldn't put the trust of their health into other's hands, I've been doing my own research for years now and would never rely on a doctor's diagnosis alone. They can be great for some things, but they are still human and it's your body and your health. As for vaccines, I am and would advise anyone to be very cautious about getting them. Especially reading the news about the mandatory H1N1 vaccines frightens me. I feel like that could especially be dangerous for my sister, yet they would say she probably should be high priority for one.

Anyways, thanks again for this site! I definitely am glad that there are resources like this and know that there are definitely things that can help my sister and cases like hers. I remain optimistic that things can get much better!

Probiotics to counter the antibiotics, and if she's had several courses you may be looking at a serious candida problem. For overall strenthening green powders are fantastic. I used to get every bug that was going around. Since starting a green powder I haven't been sick once-going on 2 years now. A good one will run 35-40$ and be mostly greens with little fruit or bran fillers. Start with a teaspoon twice a day and work up to a tablespoon two times a day. Healthfood stores carry the best quality-ask the staff for a recommendation. Get the best. This is one area not to skimp on. Rather than a single megadose of vit D once a week try 800 IU every day. And get a saliva test for adrenals. I have read of mono triggering hypoadrenia and I guarantee your doctor won't look for it. Clean up the diet. Nothing will help if she's eating junk. This has an inflammatory component so you will need to study up on anti-inflammatory and alkalizing diets. I hope this helps you.

That gardasil shot has been linked to deaths and severe side effects. A few yrs ago my niece suddenly stopped talking to people she would only talk to me, my sister and our mother. My sister took her to various drs. to a child psychologist who said she must have had some traumatic event happen to her. Out of desperation my sister took her to a health food store that does an iris eye test, they concluded that she was overloaded with toxins from vaccinations, my sister put her on a vaccine detox supplement, sublingual b-12 and a few other products and shortly after she was back to normal. if you research vaccinations the ingredients are horrible you should have her see an herbalist and get her on a detox regimine of some sort. I heard on another website (i guess i can't mention)that 1 drop of mercury spilled and hazmat crews are called because it is so toxic but yet children can be loaded with it in vaccines along with monkey kidneys and various other ingredients. please update us on her progress. God bless

I have been in a similar situation for the last two decades. Mono, fatigue, poor immune system led to a reduction in exercise and proper nutrition and an increase in stress and symptoms. I was also diagnosed as suffering from depression, Fibromyalgia, non restorative sleep, a severe D deficiency, early menopause, and so on. Stress was a major contributor to my lapses. I knew my system was out of sync, but drs and homeopaths offered me diagnoses, marginal short term improvements, but no clear cause. Supplements and Remedies helped delay a serious health outcome.

The lesson I learned is to maintain a healthy lymphatic system. In my most critical state of health, or lack thereof, eating food in its basic state like carrot, apple and wheatgrass juice, bran and banana smoothies with cayenne/honey and other herbal supplements, proscribed by an herbalist, helped my body to focus on healing and not digestion and absorbtion. A liter of pure water, plus keen attention to achieving several bowel movements each day. Bouncing gently on a trampoline daily and castor oil rubbed on my glands and abdomen kept me alive. I don't know if I'll survive my condition as years of misdiagnosis and toxicity from lymphatic blockage have run their course. I hope my experience can help her to possibly avoid my situation. I hope your sister gains strength from your love and the help of nutrients, and a improved lymphatic function.

My daughter was suffering from the exact same symptoms and missed 30% of her school year. We were frustrated with our doctor because they too suggested it was depression. Here it is - we changed doctors and she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Autoimmune diseas. She was undiagnosed and untreated for so long that her blood work revealed amazing off the chart increases that stated hypothyroidism and all of her symptoms were hyperthyroidism. She was very sick. I feel fortunate that I made the right decision to change doctors at the exact time that I did - I have no idea what may have happened to her if it had prolonged any further. I can't imagine what caused this to happen to her - I am suspicious of the Gardasil vaccine, it seems that a lot of her friends who are mere teenagers are having issues with their thyroid. It is a no brainer that something has been introduced to our childre's environmet that has spawned a disease that traditionally belonged to older adults.

Hello, it's been years since you posted, but I was curious if the doctors ever discovered what was the matter with your sister? The Epstein-Barr virus (mono) is thought to play a role in triggering Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune thyroid disease. I would recommend getting her thyroid levels tested if that hasn't already been done.

I'm sorry I don't know how to post websites w/o copy & paste. Go to Weston A Price, click on their health topics, go down to vaccine. I have others, Natural News, search their HPV & vaccine. Vaccines are for profit only & they can't be sued so they don't care if they harm or not. I have more sites, just don't know how to post them. Best to you!
