I did get a pretty painful hemorrhoid again and read here that apple cider vinegar applied on a cottonball helps. I kind of doubted it but tried it out and it calmed it down immediately. The swelling and the pain is gone after the first application!

I've suffered from hemorroids for over a year now. I have found that making ice cubes with apple cider vinger and water and placing them in the anus have helped greatly in the past week. They are still present but slowly feel like they are going away. I've all so been taking diosmin/hesperidin supplement which also seems to help.

Ice cubes work great for reliving pain from hemorrhoids. Make ice cubes wtih 1/2 water 1/4 apple cider vinegar 1/4 witch hazel. Before placeing them in the anus apply a few drops of lavender oil on the ice cube. The oil will help with the pain and also kill some of the smell from the vinegar. Make sure to eat plenty of fiber in your diet daily for the rest of your life. Constipation is most likely the cause of your hemorrhoids. also try taking any leg vein support supplement to help strengthen the veins down there.

I tried this ACV ice cube method yesterday and fainted a minute or two after I inserted it; I fell and injured my shoulder. I don't know yet whether or not it did anything for the hemorroid.
