Please tell me how you are now. I was borderline underactive thyroid and went onto the doctors medication of levothyroxine but got horrid side effects. then I tried the natural one and that didn't work. At the moment what is helping me is kelp tablets, they stop the bad headaches.

@Carmel,

I am experiencing painful headaches from taking Synthoid medication. Even regulating its dose from 25mcg to 112mcg caused headaches. So, thank you for your honesty because before I read your review, I thought I was going crazy. No one (including my endocrinologist) believed me when I told her about my headaches.

Thank You for sharing this as I have been taking Synthroid for thyroid since March of 1999 and they just changed my dose and my headaches have finally been manageable.
