For about two months I have been using baking soda as a body cleanser rather than soap, and as a hair cleanser rather than shampoo. I rinse my hair with diluted Apple Cider Vinegar and then again with water straight from the shower head, sometimes doing a final rinse with distilled water. Since using baking soda as an exfoliant and cleanser on both my body and face, my skin has cleared up a lot, especially my chest, which had been broken out for sometime, due to toxin die off, I suspect. I simply make a paste in my hand by adding a little bit of water to the bs. But today I used the diluted Apple Cider Vinegar that I was about to rinse my hair with to make the paste, rather than just water. My face has felt great all day. On days when I feel like it, I use a mixture I came up with. It consists of baking soda, vco, and a bit of tea tree oil. It cleanses, exfoliates, and moisturizes all at once. I made a mixture of this, minus the baking soda, for my step father, who had a bad red rash on his face. Not sure if it was rosacea, psoriasis, or what... but the Virgin Coconut Oil and tea tree oil returned his face to normal.
