I tried Lecithin. A Bechtel engineer who worked at a laboratory when he was younger told me that they grew the herpes virus. They used Lecithin to control and kill the herpes virus. He saw the herpes breakout on my face one day at work. He told me to take 2500 mg each day for a month. I asked him why he hasn't come forward with this information. He said that the FDA was too powerful to fight.

It worked for me. I haven't had a breakout in 20 years.

As I understand it, hospitals use Lecithin based baby formulas on new born babies born to women with genital herpes.

Lecithin 2500 mg a day for a month

I've been using DMSO, lemon juice and coconut oil with good results but not a cure because, after many months, a horrendous outbreak just came on for no reason. I purchased some non-gmo soy lecithin granules. The recommended dose is 7.5 grams a day with a meal. You can get the granules from sunflowers if you have a soy allergy. I got them from a health good supplement store. I sprinkled the loose granules over a salad. I couldn't really taste them and didn't notice them in the salad. Just tasted alone without anything.... they are still pretty tasteless.... maybe they taste mildly like a little bit of butter..... anyway, going to try these and keep you posted on the progress. Still going to take lots of vitamin C, B Complex, Vitamin D3, high quality multivitamin. I drink very little alcohol and try to stay away from processed sugar and too many starchy carbs. Let's see what happens!

Okay so I tried the lecithin granules yesterday. I had a very angry outbreak that was out of control. Since taking the lecithin granules yesterday, the outbreak is about 80 percent gone from what it was yesterday. I've been fighting this outbreak for 2 weeks with DMSO and coconut oil. So they have not turned into blisters or open sores. But the outbreak just would not go away!

I also started on my high dose vitamin C regimen 2 days ago that I had slacked off on. I'm sure that is helping some too. But I really feel like this lecithin is making a world of difference. People take this stuff every day long term for all kinds of health issues. I may never stop taking it myself. I will do my best to remember to keep you guys posted on the progress

Ok so update, the outbreak that acted like it was getting better just came flaring back up in a vengeance. I don't know what else to do other than to add in BHT. Since lecithin supppsedly reaches the nerve cells and is a fat lipid, and BHT dissolves in fat, I am going to try to start taking them together with a little coconut oil to see what happens. This outbreak has not broken the skin because of all I'm doing to treat it, but it has remained very swollen, red and angry and keeps trying to push through. I'm doubling up on zinc, taking tons of Vitamin C, Vitamin D, B Complex, Multivitamin, topical oregano oil, Coconut oil, and DMSO. One thing that I was doing everyday before was drinking lemon water everyday all day long. I'll add that back in and JUST MAYBE something will work. I'll try to update. This one is worse and lasting way longer than the first one I ever had. I'm so sad. I do think lecithin is helping but I think it's just going to be a matter of finding the right combo of stuff. And maybe it is a herx reaction and it gets worse before it gets better. Maybe I have to just keep taking it and understand that the "die off" can make flares worse before they get better. I'm not giving up. And I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Ok, so the outbreak would not go away! I did realize that my lemon water consumption went down quite a bit. Before, I was drinking one and a half liters of lemon water throughout the day. And I would squeeze in a whole lemon. So this morning, the bumps were really, really bad. And the only thing that keeps them from blistering is keeping DMSO and coconut oil on them throughout the day. But they still never go away. I've been fighting this outbreak for an entire month! So this morning, I decided to take a risk. I went to the grocery store very early and bought a bunch of large lemons and bottles of spring water. I started drinking lemon water this morning at 9 am. It is now 4:30 p.m. I decided to just use the lemon water and none of my other treatments. I did not use any DMSO and coconut oil this morning. The sores were burning and I could tell they were trying to turn into blisters this morning. But now, the itching and burning is gone. I can still feel remnants of the bumps there. But they are going away. I am still going to use the lecithin everyday because it is good for your liver and because the virus will not be able to infect the cells If I stay alkaline with the lemon water. Then they will be very susceptible to the lecithin and the lecithin can weekend and perhaps maybe eventually kill the virus altogether. So, if the lemon water stops working I will let you guys know. But as of right now, lots of lemon water all throughout the day seems to be my best option. Not just once a day or twice a day... gulps of it all day long. So the key to fast outbreak healing prevention is lots of lemon water over the entire day and perhaps the cure over the long haul is indeed lecithin. I will also use DMSO and coconut oil on the area daily for extra prevention.

FINAL UPDATE! I stopped using everything and started inreasing my consumption of lemon water. Month long outbreak gone in 2 days!!! Only lemon water. That's it. So I will still try the lecithin for a few months because it has other health benefits, but I've found my miracle..... 1 lemon squeezed in 1.5 liters drunk throughout the day. Drink additional water with electrolytes so you don't get dehydrated and drink with a straw so it doesn't damage enamel on teeth. Hope this helps!!!

Greetings Ena,

I do not see L-Lysine on your list it has long been posted as a great help and an excellent remedy for herpes by many on EC. If a person has shingles, which is also considered a type of herpes, certain foods high in arginine such as nuts and chocolate and other foods high in arginine can bring on an outbreak and so can stress . Lysine supplements will bring balance and restore the correct lysine level to your body system, which will prevent or heal the herpes breakout. You may have to take it more than once a day for a bad breakout.

Early this year I had a bad cold which could have been COVID, COVID is also said to be a type of herpes. I took one 1000mg Lysine supplement every few hours safely for about 2 weeks.

Speaking from my experience with shingles, I have used BHT, vitamin D3, Olive Leaf, baking soda and other things of great help, however I have had a longer victory when I upped my lysine intake.

When we are trying to be the answer to the cry of so many, life can get real stressful, that is why some of us have lost our hair. We have to know when to delegate, and when to stand still to see the salvation of the Lord.

I've actually tried huge doses of Lysine in the past. It never worked for me. But now, I actually have a little trouble with my liver. So for that reason, high doses of Lysine is not a good idea for me. But I agree it's a great option for many out there.

TO Evo63 (Australia ) on 07/11/2023 re lecithin....

In 2009 the lecithin they used was soy lecithin. This was the only lecithin available at that time as sunflower based lecithin was only made available commercially much more recently.
