As a side note I had some testing done and was told that I now have carpal tunnel in both arms but I had no idea because I have no pain!

USA's "Nature's Sunshine" Alfalfa-Medicago sativa, 340mg each capsule, is what I have been taking for thinning and making the mucous flow in the nostrils better (sorry about that) and it does work long-term for that complaint for me anyway. I take a maintenance dose of either one OR two capsules a day with meals as it has the added plus of all those extra minerals, of which more later on, BUT for Tendonitis one would surely need to take at least their recommended dosage of 2 caps three times per day, again with food. I recommend taking them no later than 30 minutes after meals otherwise wait till the next meal. Some folks on this Site have had to resort to mega doses of Alfalfa to shift Tendonitis but you should check with your favourite doctor or serious naturopath before doing that, especially if you have other medical conditions. The Arabs were so fond of Alfalfa and what it could do for them that they called it the "Father of all Herbs". Don't discount their years of experience as they have been traders for centuries (like Sinbad the Sailor). It is supposed to put down such deep roots that they are able to "mine" the good stuff such as minerals and trace elements in the deeper soil. Whatever, it is certainly a product that contains a lot of diverse nutrition for the human body so should be more popular than it currently seems to be. Certainly, if memory serves me correctly there have been questions asked in the past concerning contra-indications for certain people so best check that side out before over-consuming. Start out with smaller doses if you decide to take this and slowly build up. That gives the body time to adjust anyway.
Tendonitis sufferers seem to have a problem getting nutrients and/or blood flow to the Tendons.
Mama to Many on this Site can offer you more on this subject and under "Tendonitis". You and I both know how painful it can be!!
And one must always remember the old adage:-
Life could be sweet.......if we would only take care of our feet". (Anon).
Cheers and good luck with the foot.

This sounds like trigger finger or Duyputrens contracture. I have it, I wrap my hand nightly in boron salve from Amazon and with a cotton ball saturated in DMSO. I also go to shock wave, not the one that bangs on you but an electric extracorporeal type. It's hard to find, but those two things are the only thing that I have found stop the pain and progression.
