5 out of 5 stars

I had great success with Diindolylmethane (DIM). Not total healing yet. I used 300mg of DIM per day with meal. Plus black pepper extract 5 mg for added absorption. I had my hernia protrude just one hour after waking up. Now just 8 days of taking DIM and half the day the hernia is in without wearing a belt. It might need 3 months of supplementing. If you search chatgpt what are the natural blockers of ESR1 you will see why I took DIM. DIM is not as powerfull as fulvestrant. So I put topically from day 10, rosemary oil for the same reason, do George Hirst's excersises for stronger muscles around the inguinal canal and used a spiky massage ball for the fibrosis. Some phytoestrogens are antagonists of agressive types of astrogen but they are also estrogens.
Why fulvestrant is the solution? Search the study 'Estrogen receptor alpha ablation reverses muscle fibrosis and inguinal hernias. Tanvi Potluri, …, Hong Zhao, Serdar E. Bulun
J Clin Invest. 2025. https://doi.org/10.1172/JCI17

Some people say that convex belts (not even pad) can make matters worse when pressing in the inguinal ring especially when the hernia protrudes in the belt.

Even men need estrogen so one must not overdo it. That is why I used rosemary topically and not in the system.

Sorry for misinforming the site. In long term I had zero results taking DIM for 30 days. The two days that I my hernia didn't come out in the morning were maybe for sitting a few hours and not standing up which is worse for inguinal hernias. DIM is not as strong as Fulvestrant. Mayby I will try the peptides which are mentioned in the comments in the following youtube video. But these peptides are nor for people who have cancer.

This is a very interesting article and approach to hernia treatment. I've had an inguinal hernia for 15 years from an injury and managed it by activities and diet. I tried a brace with the flat pad but it was unreliable and I was concerned about its effects. Using a hand over the hernia can tell you its position or reduce it. There are offerings of a comfrey poultice or Chinese herbal supplements and better approaches to surgery like Desarda (non mesh) but I have concerns. Physicians and medical systems are not responsible. Sedatives like versed (amnesia type) risk memory issues and are routinely used. I've began IMD + pepper. Please keep people informed about your findings.
