I read someone else's post about rubbing the right ear lobe. My spouse had the hiccups since yesterday morning. He tried a couple of tricks that did not work this time. The hiccups stopped-and-started all day, night and again today. I told him about this trick and he performed it in his vehicle on the way to an appointment for work. To be clear, he took his right pointer finger and thumb and rubbed the right ear lobe for at least 60 seconds.

When I asked him a few hours later, he had forgotten all about the hiccups. They were gone after he did this technique. That was easy!

I just tried this for my 5 year old because she's too little to drink water upside down (drinking water upside down has worked for me since I learned the trick at age 17. It works for me every single time).

I did exactly what was written in the post, for 60 seconds I rubbed her right earlobe between my thumb and pointer finger, and her hiccups immediately stopped. Wow! Thank you!
