Let me begin w a little background. I am 39 years old, 120 lbs, and have 2 children. 12 years ago diagnosed hypothyroid. Have had trouble regulating levels for the past several years. About 10 years ago I had a bilateral oopherectomy removal of left ovary and fallopian tube along with a noncancerous grapefruit sized cyst that I believed was caused by an IUD. A couple of years later I had the right fallopian tube removed for sterilization and to reduce cancer risk.
The past several years I have been seeing doctors to find what's wrong with me. Horrible night sweats, intense stabbing cramps, extreme fatigue sleeping for 16+ hours at once, blood clots and heavy bleeding, back pain, pain when going to the bathroom, ect. Finally I had an ultrasound last Friday 10/20/23 and they found a 2.4" submucosal fibroid, a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst, and 2 masses on my cervix. I am terrified. Follow up app tomorrow. MRI next Thursday.
I do belive in the healing power of nature and have found relief through testimony on earth clinic in the past and have come up with a self healing regime. I start today. Black strap Molasses unsulphered 1 tsp morning and night. 1 tsp ground turmeric in juice of 1 lemon and 1 tbsp ACV w the mother once a day. Castor oil rubbed into lower belly after shower every day I am not bleeding. I am also going to make a pitcher of green tea to have on hand and drink throughout the day as well as beet juice when I can afford it. I hope it's possible to heal myself. I do not want surgery let alone a hysterectomy. Thank you everyone who contributed to my herbal plan and please send healing to me. I will post an update after I receive my MRI results. ð

Since last posting, I have started taking the combination birth control pill in order to get my symptoms under control so that I may work and take care of responsibilities. I have to be honest, I have not been consistent with my at home remedies. I have been taking a multivitamin, probiotic, and turmeric almost daily, applying castor oil in belly button and on lower abdomen after almost every shower, green tea with juice from 1 whole lemon 3-4 days a week, and finally ACV and BSM randomly. I have found that taking the BSM straight off the spoon and chasing it with water is the best method for me. I have also started getting IV therapy with vitamin C and magnesium, as well as a D3 shot and will continue that once a month (more often if approved by gyno) for the next 6 months. My MRI results showed 6+ fibroids with 2 being cervical. the largest 2 measuring 5.4 cm and 1.3 cm. At this point I am welcoming surgery. I want to enjoy my life again. My follow up appointment is 11/27/23. I will update again then.

From what I've read women need more iodine to keep breasts and ovaries healthy. Iodized salt has a paltry amount amount added which dissipates over time. Several decades back iodine was used in baked goods, then replaced with potassium bromate (bromated flour.) That's a long story in itself worth looking into. So, bottom line is most don't get the iodine like we did back then. Research selenium methionine (no more than 200 mcg daily, and it must be this form of selenium) or one Brazil nut per day taken for several weeks prior to starting iodine is key. It's hard to eat just one every day so I opt for capsule form, and eating half a package of nuts could ingest too much selenium.
As far as iodine dosage, I would work with a qualified health care professional. My doctor was also very adept at muscle testing which requires sufficient hydration for accurate results. My husband works with his doctor on an iodine protocol to keep his thyroid nodules at bay.
I'm not a doctor and your mileage may vary (my boilerplate statement ;)
Best wishes on your healing journey!
