5 out of 5 stars

I'm 42 years old and I've had age spots on the back of my hands for over 10 years. I've tried everything including laser to have them removed but nothing was successful until I tried apple cider vinegar mixed with onion juice and believe it or not after just 3 weeks I'm so amazed at the results, I want to tell the world. I use it 3 to 5 times per day for 5 days then 2 days rest. I hope my good remedy will help other young women as I had a complex with the spots.

What are the exact measurements of onion juice to ACV?

Finely chop or blend an onion, and use a strainer or cheese cloth to squeeze and extract the juice.

Take one part of Apple Cider Vinegar and one part of onion juice and mix them together.

Dab a cotton pad into the solution and apply it directly onto the age spots.

Repeat this once a day for approximately 6 weeks and you should begin to notice a gradual improvement. If the spots have not completely disappeared after the 6 weeks but they have started to fade, keep repeating the process until they do.

To speed up the process, you can mix 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar into a mug full of water (hot or cold), and drink this twice daily for a month. This will not only improve your age spots, but it will also give you a healthy young glow and make you feel energized and active. If you find the taste of the vineger to be too strong, try adding a tablespoon of honey as a natural sweetener.

Follow up: I'm so happy because I've spent alot of money on all off these so called creams which are expensive and DON'T help.

However, the onion process is TERRIBLE -- you hve to use about 12 medium size onions halfed, I used a lemon juice presser (a machine). I wear contact lenses and I didn't have the runny eyes that most folk become.

After that I used a sieve to make sure the juice was pure. Then I added it to a little plastic bottle and filled it up with apple cider vinegar.

It smells when you put it on your hands, but if you want the results then apply in the evenings when you are settled.

I've started to use it on my chest, I have two [age spots] which are really noticeable and please believe me, I left the cotton wool soaked with the remedy and my daughter just recently said Mama, they don't look any more so big, and she is right they look smaller and smaller every day.

A good tip every night when the adverts come on T.V I use it because it dries up really quickly!!

If you want to know anything else reactions and so on I'm pleased to help. I'm totally happy because I had NO faith in anything including the doctors.

I am 40 and have brown ugly age spots all over me - specifically my arms, and legs mostly. hormones, adrenal fatigue etc.. and they drive me crazy. Any ideas on how to use this where there is such a big area to cover?

Theoretically, this would be the treatment for Tinea, which is a skin fungus. Onion Juice has a high amount of Sulfur... Sulfur kills fungus. ACV kills both bacteria and more importantly fungus.

to Dorlene from Augsburg, Germany: I would like to know how much of Apple cider Vinegar and onion juice you mix and if you had any reaccion on your skin. I have melasma for over 5 year in my cheeks and nothing is helping. I'd like it. I appreciate if you answer. thanks a lot!!!

I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother and onion powder and that seems to be working for me after only 4 days. They are starting to lighten up.

I'd like to try the apple cider vinegar onion juice remedy for age spots. I am wondering how long the mixture will keep in the refrigerator, or if it needs to be refrigerated at all?

Be careful not to use this on your face, especially close to the eyes. The onion apple cider vinegar mixture burns a lot, and it made the dark spots I have on my upper cheeks appear worse. It is probably more suitable for the body.

2 questions:

1. Do I apply this potion only to the age spots/sun spots? Or do I apply it over all my skin? The spots are darkened skin, not raised. They're like freckles, but not quite so dark. Shouldn't I apply this only on the spots themselves? I don't want to lighten the other skin (I'm a man, and I don't really want fair skin).

2. Wouldn't it be so much easier to, instead of making onion juice out of onions, just buy some onion powder and mix it with water? Both are "liquid onion, " but the mixing the powder with water seems ten times easier than chopping 12 onions, then blending them (or whatever), squeezing them, etc.
