4 out of 5 stars

My 5-year-old Chi was diagnosed with Lymphoma Late December 3rd of November, yes blood tests everything. The vet has been prescribing steroids, I have him on a high-fat low-carb diet, which includes tilapia, turmeric, apples, and coconut oil. He has now started coughing and has what looks like a small hole in one of his tumors. Today is the first time I saw the white stuff with what looked like a tumor root, or a partial, anyway, I saved it to show the vet, yes yucky, lol but have not fed him anything like that in the past few days as I am out of the low fat cottage cheese.

Any help, and yes they reduced somewhat in size also.

Dear Rhonda,

Your Chi is just adorable!
When you mentioned being out of cottage cheese, I was put in mind of the Budwig Protocol for cancer, which is a combo of flax oil and cottage cheese. It might be easy to implement if your Chi will eat cottage cheese.

Here is a post about it.

Also, here is a post from another Earth Clinic poster who used Essiac for lymphoma.

Keep up the good work and let us know how it goes!

Thank you, I will, I have been pouring over articles and sites. I love this site. For those that do not know Turmeric and coconut oil and apples are Cancer killers, they "choke" the new veins that try to spread. They just suffocate it, now he is also on a steady diet of Lentils. I cook them from dried.

Thank you,

Rhonda and DarthVader

I just saw this. I thank you for your help and care. When we can afford more groceries I will get it. But I will look it up now, Do I put it on the outside? does it draw it out?

Sorry about the questions, lol haven't had a lot of sleep and less coffee.

Lymphomas, as with the majority of cancers, are viral in origin. Several viruses have been linked to different types of lymphomas.

Unless the virus is addressed you are not going to get very far as the virus can continue causing the same problem.

The best antivirals I have found for lymphomas are pau d' arco (lapacho, taheebo, ipe roxo), andrographis and dried and aged chaparral. The chaparral has to be dried and aged a few months to destroy alkaloids present that are toxic to the liver.

I prefer to use combinations of herbs together that are synergistic. For example, addition of chaparral to the pau d' arco increases the levels of antiviral beta lapachone in the pau d' arco. I recommend combining the herbal powders, which are more effective and more stable than tinctures, in equal amounts. Recommended dose for a dog that small is 2 size '0' capsules of the mix 3 times daily.

I am just seeing this as I was plumb exhausted last night. I will have to look up what those words are, but I do thank you so much for the help.

Hi Rhonda,

Do be very careful using bloodroot. You would apply it topically unless under the supervision of an herbalist familiar with this herb. It eats away the cancerous cells. However, it will cause incredible pain to your dog and there are more gentle remedies to use. I did use bloodroot on an ugly benign tumor on one of my dog's legs a number of years ago and it wasn't something I would do again even though it worked.

I'm currently having great results using DMSO and colloidal silver externally for my 16 year old dog's anal gland tumor. He's still here after it was diagnosed in August, thanks to this remedy combo. You can read about it on the pets' tumor page.

Thank you, I will not use that, I do not want my Darth Vader in any pain. I started him on Milk Thistle and Honey and Shark Cartilage today. All taken internally. Thank you and God Bless you.

Darth's lumps are still going down. And he is breathing better. He was not super hungry this morning, but the airway/windpipe is bigger as the pictures will show. Thank you all for being here.

Darth Vader goes to the vet tomorrow for her assessment. A necessary evil, sorry, just a bit jaded. His tumors have shrunk, become softer and although he was running a temperature today for a while it is gone.

His water weight has gone down also. We think it goes up because of the chicken broth, we are not sure. We thought we had a hard decision to make tomorrow, but as he is more active and better than he was and we both decided NO WAY.

HE is on the Milk thistle and shark cartilage still. I will update you when we ALL return home.

OMG!! THIS NEW VET TEAM IS AWESOME! Sorry about the caps. Darth has gained 4 pounds, did not lose so the high-fat low-carb diet is working, he's now been prescribed Clindamycin Hydrochloride oral drops. He's also been very active today and drinking water on his own because his swelling is going down in his cheeks and neck. This vet is totally happy I'm doing the homeopathy along with his prescribed medicines. the side view is after the new medicine, The font is at the new vet. Again thank you all for listening and being here. He is also more active today.

Darth Vader's swelling down on one side, I've had to use the syringe to give him the Tumeric, he barely eats the apples anymore I expect it's because of the swollenness of his jaw. He sure wanted a bath tonight though, so he got one. Oh, and the sides are still soft. Which is a good thing.

Dogs' benefit from ginger, you could make her a little doggie pancake and put some in it. It helps with nausea and digestion and is a heating spice that increases circulation.

How much ginger should I give my dog? Give 1/2 teaspoon for dogs under 35 pounds (1/4 teaspoon for miniature breeds) and 3/4 teaspoon for larger dogs, he says. It can be mixed into your dog's food.

I know a little bit about misery and when a person fills the tub and gets in up the the neck it tricks the body into thinking the pain is coming from a larger area and shrinks it. Water removes water out of the body, so you have to drink water. Some dogs love water.

Most drugs have an antihistamine in them and can help a misery calm down and give one some rest as they recover

My computer crashed so I am typing all over again, Darth Vader's Lymphoma tumors are draining and disappearing, it is a milky thick liquid with no blood. He is more active and eating better. the Lumps on his throat are gone about. I will keep up his medicines from the vet and his Turmeric, -Shark cartilage, IP-6, and coconut oil. I mix the capsules with honey and coconut oil and give it to him on a baby spoon so he receives it all. the IP-6, Shark Cartilage I get from Swansons. www.swansons.com

Darth's lump has almost stopped oozing, and I am keeping his neck clean with a warm cloth. Giving him his food he's eating more often, and giving him more Karo syrup. And lots of rest. I'm also putting triple antibiotic ointment on his hole so it does not get infected.

And most of all lots of prayers.

Darth Vader ate some more with me feeding him the IP-6 and Tumeric ate /killed the tumor on his throat his throat has closed from the gaping hole to this. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow or at least just a video office visit to make sure it is safe to continue everything he is taking. He has had a couple of seizures tonight. I am putting Neosporin and light padding and gauze on it.
