- NAC is also a good antioxidant,
- that it can prevent cytokine storm & inflammation,
- additionally, it also can break down the clots or prevent them from forming which is the biggest danger of covid19.
- NAC replenishes glutathione stores and helps reduce the viral load.
- high dose IV NAC is also reported to have had good results for seriously ill patients.
so I feel, NAC must be included as standard of care for covid patients along with vit c, d3, zinc & b complex supplements etc.

Some people are sensitive to NAC, and it will raise the blood pressure in their lungs, make them feel breathless and raise their heart rate. So if you're taking NAC and experience shortness of breath and pounding heartbeat, it's the NAC.
I am very allergic to NAC. I also started taking niacinamide (250mg) and had the same symptoms. After doing some research online, I found that niacinamide is the precursor to NAC. So I stopped taking the niacinamide.

My bottle of N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) states to take it with a meal that contains protein.
The brand is AOR and each capsule is 500 mg. I take one with my evening meal (which always has protein in it). I also take it with Vitamin C (heard that Vitamin C enhances the effect).
I found this article online. I actually didn't know how many benefits there are to taking NAC. I'm using it as part of my Covid-19 arsenal.
