Bill, How long should this treatment of Lugol's and water up the nose protect against viruses for please?

Hi Clare...The nasal iodine should last for about 2 hours. Don't forget that you should also wear a face mask as well. If you go outside all day then you can make several batches using the iodine + water recipe and just fill up a small, empty 30 ml dropper bottle with the iodine + water and take it with you for topping up the nasal passages whenever necessary.

Bill, I tried the water mix nasal spray but it does not disperse - atomize like I thought it would, just a flush of liquid. My question do you know if I use a nasal saline solution instead of water, will it have the same effect in killing any virus - bacteria ? Do you of any saline or something similar that could be inhaled-sprayed in to the lungs instead of water?

Hi Rob...As I've advised, it's probably easier and best if you add measured amounts in your nose with a dropper. You can certainly try using a nasal sprayer but that's likely more awkward and perhaps messier in my opinion. Also, there's really no need to use saline solution because iodine kills a wider range of pathogens anyway. So perhaps best to just use lugols iodine drops + water as advised.

I have 15% lugol's and can't do the maths to make it the correct dilution for nasal spray and gargle, can anyone help please?

Thank you.

Relative to the question about the saline solution. I read of nebulizing Hydrogen Peroxide, I don't recall the percentage of H.P. It was a USA MD's recommendation and could be researched if you are unable to get Lugol's or follow Bill's protocol.
