Basic Care Nasal Moisurizer Saline nasal spray 3 FL (88 ML) I need to know the exact mixing of iodine drops @2% & water by weight 3oz = (88 M ), (I`m new at this so please be patient ). For use with a nebulizer @ 2% idione, how long per treatment session?

Thanks, I did not think of that. Another thing to consider is Ionic or Colloidal Copper. It is very effective against all pathogens, including any virus. You can research many things here for free and paid but same information all science backed greenmedinfo.com the research comes from universities, med schools etc. and abstracts are available, check it out.

Hi Rob...If you want to fill and use a spray bottle with the iodine + water mixture then just mix 20 drops of 2% lugols iodine with a full shot glass of water and keep making this iodine + water mix until the level of the mixture in the spray bottle is sufficient for your needs.

I did a conversion check and one shot glass is equal to one ounce of water just to let you know. I don`t drink so have no idea of the subject of shot glasses but did not think to look it up at first, it might save somebody else some time and trouble though.

Hi Bill, Lugol iodine and water mixture, will you please be specific with cc of water and the number of drops of lugol's iodine to avoid the guess work and cause any anxiety. Thanks, Baldev

Hi Baldev...The nasal Iodine + water protocol is fully described at the top of the "Nasal Lugol's Iodine Rinse for Protection Against COVID-19" section in EC. Here is the original description of how to do it from that post: "To get enhanced protection from the coronavirus, do the following: 1. Fill a small shot glass (for whiskey) half full of purified water. 2. Add four drops of 5% Lugol's iodine (or nine drops if you have 2% Lugol's iodine) to the water in the shot glass. Stir well with a clean spoon. 3. In each nostril, add one dropper-full of the iodine/water mixture and then gently sniff it into the nasopharynx region at the back of the nose. When you add the iodine + water into your nostrils, this mixture will turn into vapour, which will further act to destroy any incoming virus that you breathe into your nose for several hours. Similarly, when you breathe in through your nose, the iodine/water vapour will also move to help disinfect and give enhanced protection for the nasopharynx, throat, and lung regions as well. This extra protection against COVID-19 infection would be particularly useful if you go into a crowded outside area or an infected environment. This additional iodine protection might also be quite valuable for any nurses or doctors out there who are continually tending infected patients daily in hospitals."

«small shot glass of whiskey» it is not a scientific or precise expression, it leads to confusion

J, EC is not a scientific site. We are talking home remedies which are measured in "a pinch of this or a scant teaspoon of that" or "a shot cup"!

Actually, the most accepted conversion of a shotglass to ounces is 1 shotglass equals 1.5 ounces liquid.

Shot glass = 1.5 ounces. 1/2 shot glass = .75 ounces Recommendation = 4 drops of 5% (9 drops of 2%) per half a shot glass (.75 ounces) For a 3 ounce bottle, the recommendation would be 16 drops of 5% (36 drops of 2%) Translate to any size bottle 4 drops for every .75 ounces of water.
