4 out of 5 stars

Hello, this is T from Chicago, IL. I contracted genital warts from my ex-bf about a year ago. In the shower I felt two small hard growths on my perineum area. My gyn confirmed my own suspicions and fears with a positive diagnosis of hpv (genital warts). I opted to try and treat myself with natural methods vs. over the counter or prescription meds. I found this site called amoils.com. They have a lot of diff essential oils that cure a plethora of ailments; so I bought this product called heal warts. It was to be applied 3x/day only to the top of the wart and in 2 to 6 weeks the warts are guaranteed to flake away and no new wart will grow in the same place again. The product worked just as it was suppose to and w/in about 4 to 6 weeks they were gone. I was wart free for about one year and then I noticed two similar growths on my perineum area again. I started to use the heal warts formula again, confident that it would work the same. I had been using it for about 3 weeks with no improvements and to make matters worse the warts began to multiply and spread. I went from having 2 small warts to having like 10 vaginal warts and 1 anal wart (which I have no clue how I got cause I have never had anal sex). So thus began a new search for a new product that will get rid of these disgusting little bastards. I was ready to give prescription meds a try and then I found this blessing of a site called earthclinic. Many of the people were buzzing about apple cider vinegar (acv) for treating genital warts in as little as 3 days. I was a little scared because many of the comments stated that the acv burns upon contact, but I was willing to try anything. So I went out and bought some store brand of acv, cotton balls, sterile gauze pads and some big Band-Aids. I took a shower and carefully cleaned the area. After I got out I clean the wart area again with some hydrogen peroxide. I then took a cotton ball and soaked it with acv and squeezed out the excess. I put one cotton ball right inside my vagina since nearly half of my warts are right inside and around the vaginal opening. (I suspect I may have warts in my vaginal canal so I will do a full strength acv douche twice a day once I stop my menstrual cycle). I took another acv cotton ball and stretched it out to lengthen it; I then positioned it so that half the cotton was on my perineum warts and the other half was on my anal wart. Next I took the sterile gauze pad and cut it in half (the ones I bought are pretty big) then soaked it and squeezed out the excess acv. I used this pad to cover and keep the cotton balls in place and to cover any tiny warts that I may not see. Then I covered everything with the other dry half of the pad and taped it to the insides of my thighs with the big Band-Aids. I also put a panty liner in my panties as to avoid any leakage. I am not going to lie; the pain for me was an extremely intense burning sensation, almost unbearable. It doesn't burn the good skin, only the warts feel like they are burning. I kept telling myself the pain is the wart dying and being rejected by my body. The pain lessens in about 30 to 45 mins. The first day, I wore the acv treatment around the house for about 5 hours. When I took off the pad off the warts had become swollen and whiter. I took a shower and used the peroxide to clean the area and let it be. On day two I decided to do the treatment before bed. I did the same steps as before and went to bed. In the morning the warts were even whiter, and harder and slightly protruding more as if the wart was literally being pushed out of the skin. Every time I went to the bathroom and wiped I would see little chunks of wart on the toilet paper. Today is day three and the warts are sore and tender and one of them is starting to turn black, and another little wart chunk came off. I will use the treatment again tonight before bed. I have not been super aggressive with this treatment, meaning that I have not been wearing the pad for 24 hrs/day due to the pain intensity. I can only apply once a day for 5 to 10 hrs depending on what I have to do. Many people report that aloe vera gel or neosporin/ A&D ointment work well for soothing the pain and irritation. I will buy some aloe vera gel and give that a try. I can say that I am very confident that with in 1or maybe 2 weeks the warts will be completely gone. Once the warts are completely gone I will try using vitamin e oil to help heal the skin up like new. I will post and update my condition in a week. I really hope this info helps someone, cause hpv is a very scary disease and many can't afford the traditional wart medications. You are not alone in your struggle to rid yourself of these horrid nasty little things and apple cider vinegar is a cheap simple way to quickly get rid of the warts. I must say that even if you have seemingly removed all of the warts with the acv; it is still best for anyone with a positive hpv diagnosis do regularly get check for cervical or penile cancer.

Ok, so im back to post about my results with acv. It has been 10 days of using this method. I originally wore the acv cotton balls for about 5 hours the first day and then overnight the second. Well on the third day I could only wear for about 10 to 15 min tops. Each day using the acv burns more and more severely then the day before. So instead of wearing the acv cotton balls once a day for 5 hours (cannot bear the pain for that long) I would just brace myself and hold the cotton ball on the warts for 10 sec to 10 min about 2 or 3 times a day; depending how much pain I could take at the time; (I also continue to clean the warts with hydrogen peroxide before the acv treatment) Well sure enough the warts began to get white, then dry, then black, then they began to flake off. A lot of people claimed it took only 3 days for the acv to rid their warts, but for me it has taken longer. I think it depends on the severity of the warts and maybe the strain as well. I had quite a few and they were in flat clusters ( I guess I had several layers of warts that the acv had to work through). Also I stated that I had been previously using heal warts from www.amoils.com and that I stopped using it; well because I was a little impatient with the acv, on the 5th or 6th day I began using them together. I would use the acv for like 5 min, then when the pain stopped (after about another 5 min) I would apply the heal warts formula. I tried to do this 3 times a day. It seemed that when I began to use them together the warts began to dry up and flake off faster (they began to itch severely as they flake off, so be careful not to scratch and spread). Well today when I checked the external warts they are all but gone. I have a few flaky black patches left that I will continue to treat. The internal warts are still there cause I have not really been treating them. Once the external ones are all gone I will try a diluted acv douche for the internal warts. Just to let everyone know the heal warts product really does work by itself, it just takes about 6 weeks to rid the warts; also it can be used internally to rid warts inside the vaginal canal for the ladies (apply topically DO NOT INGEST). I have used internally before but I am sensitive so it caused some vaginal pH imbalances (increased discharge and irritation) which is easy to fix with either acv douche or that rePHresh stuff they sell at local drug stores. So all in all I love acv. I am a fan for life. Even though the pain is horrid (I actually screamed and cried a couple of times), it is worth it to be rid of the warts in like 2 to 3 weeks. Also I bought some raw, organic, unpasturized acv and began taking a shot every morning as Liz from Cleveland did, it can't hurt and acv is very good for you anyway. I will be drinking a shot a day for life. I did dilute the shot in about 6 to 8 oz of juice or water. I will post again in another week or so when the warts are completely gone. Don't give up if the acv doesn't rid all the warts immediately (like in 3 days), just be consistent, bear the pain, and stay positive. Good luck all!

Thanks T for your update, i have been using for 5 days now and still no change, only for the itching is worse, im really hoping that this is the nasty little virus tring to survive but failing !! i cant keep the acv on for long against my skin so am hoping 1 hour twice a day is enough. i am using this called Somoxal also twice a day (got it off a website and not sure if i was done as the packaging and instructions state nothing about hpv or warts ?!) but i will keep trying because of your update, heres hoping in another 5 days i will be celebrating victory :D

Hello all, i am finally back to give a final update. By 11/24/08 i have to say that my warts were all gone! Sorry i took so long to update. I know most of the people who have posted say that it only took about 3 days for the warts to go away, but for me it took about 2 1/2 months for them to go away completely. I would have to take breaks cause the acv was really irritating; i would have to let my skin heal for a few days and then continue. Also i suspect the longer that it takes means the warts are deeper or layered or are a stubborn strain. But i just kept at it and eventually they went away.

I did have a considerable amount of skin irritation that needed a lot of t.l.c. I would have to stop treatment and use vasaline or antibiotic ointment or sumthin to lubricate and protect the raw areas. Once the skin had recouped and healed i noticed the warts were less and less each time, so i just kept at it until one day the warts were all gone! I have no scarring and the skin is nice and smooth as if the warts were never there at all. I am so pleased for acv and this site. I really hope this information and final update helps others dealing with this horrid problem. Good luck!
