For all you Dear people with Abpa or chronic Aspergillosis.

I have been there. I know what you are going through. Please know it isn't a death sentence. I had a very very bad case. Now five years later I am doing great. But I had to pretty much learn from the websites in England. They are ahead of the game. And on my own trial and error some BIG errors.

I just want to let you know my IGe was 4300 some go as high as 12,000.

1. First do not drink orange juice or lemon aid or any citrus. You can make your own but the commercial is full of aspergillus.

2. Do not eat nuts, unless you soak them in vitamin C then reroast them.

3. Do not drink sake as it is made with aspergillus,

4. Do not take beano made with aspergillus.

5. Do not take digestive enzymes, made with aspergillus.

6. Do not dust or vacuum ever! Have someone else do it.

7. Do not garden or have house plants.

8. Do not have birds, chickens or pigeons near you.

9. Stay away from all chemicals. You will also be very sensitive to malls and stores as clothes are all sprayed with pesticides, formaldehyde, sizing, and cotton has a ton of aspergillus. Clothes you buy need to immediately be washed.

Read all labels on food. But eat clean. I have more if you want to write here or write to me personally feel free.

I took digestive enzymes made with aspergillosis and now I have invasive aspergillosis throughout, but mostly bad in my sinuses. I am so mad because I had no idea. I'd like more information.

I just checked my bottle of digestive enzymes and saw "Acid Stable Protease (Aspergillopepsin)" this sounds very much like aspergillosis! Maybe that's why my IBSD has never improved? So what can be done to get rid of this fungus??

Good morning,

Wow, now I know why I also have an issue with clothes and the material; especially with the color black, blue, and red/pink. I was shocked to learn what you posted, and was hoping you could send me a list please? My son and I both have are allergic to Aspergillus. My son, however, has autism and is non-verbal. He is 22, and most of the time I can figure out where he is being agitated, but there are many times I can't. He cries and becomes so upset until he calms down (probably because he manages to deal with the pain from it). I can't begin to tell you how much your list would mean to mean.

Thank you,
Jen

I also have aspergillus and I'm sure a lot of other people do and don't know that they do. It has gone into my lungs and it seems to give me pneumonia quite often. I am very interested in what you are using and what is working for you. Some of what you are you think I have also but not extended, But I think I will. I want to treat myself naturally and get my health back. I am very interested in hearing about your journey. Thank you so much for sharing. Diane

Hi Diane, I have recently discovered that Pneumonia is caused by Staph bacteria. I think this is what I've been struggling with and its gone into my lungs and kidneys. I have found some things that are helping a lot. I nebulize bicarb of soda in water, I rub Tea Tree Oil mixed with Coconut Oil all over my torso twice a day, I'm taking 2 Oregano caps a day, and I use blue light in the form of a laser pen used for acne on blocked lung meridians, sinus and lymph nodes and they shrink. The Staph doesn't seem to like any of these.

Someone with mold poisoning was unable to get well until she took an Alpha Lipoic acid supplement. I do not have any other information regarding dosage and frequency. But I do know that she got better once she took it.

What dosage of bicarb soda do you mix with water?

Hi Debra,

Sounds promising. What brand of Nebulizer did you buy? There are so many on the Market, and I am after a portable unit. Cheers! Annie.

Hi Annie, I bought a $30 little hand held one off Ebay. I had a battery operated one previously that broke and this time decided to try the electric one as I was going through too many batteries. If you can find a lithium battery portable, that would be the best.

Thank you for your helpful post. After years of reading "mold stuff" I hadn't heard most of that.

I still have symptoms of Mycotoxicosis after professional, home remediation in 2017 (all possessions removed from house, fresh start). The initially high Aspergillus penicillium and Stachybotrys Chartarum levels in house tested clean upon re-entry. My acute "stage 3" symptoms (incl. intermittent partial paralysis, facial swelling, dizziness) are gone, thanks be to God.
But now (2020-2022) I have a slow spreading subcutaneous oral infection (peritonsillar abscesses), that is spreading to ears and neck/thyroid, that is likely fungal. I'm waiting for an ENT referral, but Canadian physicians are largely yet unfamiliar with toxic mold. I am chemically sensitive (antibiotic "overdosed"), and thus wary of allopathy, which has contributed to, if not caused, my immuno-compromised state.

So far I have tried homeopathy (but it has never worked for me), raw garlic, seaweed, iodine/acv/honey, kefir, coc.oil pulling, sage tea, vitamins, herbs, spices, and safe mercury amalgam removal. The infection is nevertheless slowly spreading. Please let me know of anything you know of that might help, as you indicated. Thank you kindly!

Jennifer, I previously posted on some things that were helping. Since then I've found Lemongrass Essential Oil that is helping so much. I rub it directly on my torso morning and night. It has a spread area of 83% for killing staph infections. It might be worth a try for you. To stabilize your mast cells and reactions from taking antibiotics, I have found PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide), which is a natural mast cell stabilizer is incredible. It's available online or from compounding chemists. You would need to do a loading dose of 1200mg for a couple months and then reduce slowly. It allowed me to eat food again after antibiotics. It's a good idea to build probiotics during this time too but find a histamine lowering probiotic.

Over the years, my own experience of treating fungal infections -- including systemic Candida problems and systemic Aspergillosis problems -- for myself, as well as for other people, is that you have so many protocols to choose from. As an example, Ted from Bangkok, in his various anti-candida and anti-aspergillus protocols, has used the following natural nutrients: Hydrogen Peroxide, Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Molybdate, Borax, Copper Chlorphyllin, Sodium Thiosulfate, Methylene Blue, Alkalizing etc. You can also specifically search for Ted's anti-fungal remedies by using "Ted Aspergillus" or "Ted Candida" in the EC search box and then you can have a quiet read of all the fungal remedies used by Ted -- and there are alot!

I have also successfully used my own Borax, Lugol's Iodine, Turpentine with Alkalizing protocols to successfully cure my own Candida problems, the protocol is shown here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XGVf9i-N_keyn51fUxEs91JQOs7-dfBEAfsclH5SQ9k/edit?usp=sharing

It's no easy thing curing a systemic fungal problem caused by Candidiasis or Aspergillosis. So if you do decide to take a protocol for your candida or aspergillus problems then your protocol should also use the following information for complete fungal clearance or cure with no "Rebound Effect" or no return of infection. Here is what your anti-fungal protocol must fully address for a cure:

* Avoid using antibiotics. Antibiotics are one of the top causes of dysbiosis in the human body—a malady well known to encourage the persistence and spread of candida as well as aiding in and supporting the spread of numerous pathogen problems throughout the body.

* Directly attacking, killing and removing candida and all co-infections in the body. These anti-pathogen protocols should be selected and employed to act as wide-acting pathogen killers – that can kill fungi, bacteria, viruses and mycoplasma quickly – while at the same time acting throughout all regions of the body (not just acting in the intestines) for a fuller effect in order to eradicate both the fungal and yeast forms of candida as well as to efficiently kill all the associated pathogens that may also be involved.

* Removal of heavy metals, halides and other poisons that have accumulated in the body over time. Apart from greatly depressing and weakening the immune system and liver, heavy metals are a part of the building material that candida uses to construct biofilms. So heavy metals removal from the body will also help to expose candida and other pathogens by reducing biofilm formation that would normally help to protect and hide various pathogens – including candida – from the body's immune system.

* Using other protocols on a daily basis with specific surfactant or digestive properties that effectively act to dissolve and dispel the biofilms in which candida and other pathogens can protect themselves. By doing this, the involved pathogens will be completely flushed out with nowhere to hide. The candida and pathogen attack remedies can then be more effectively employed to kill and remove the offending pathogens more quickly.

* Alkalizing the body on a daily basis to neutralize bodily acidity caused by anaerobic pathogens, including candida. This also helps to remove toxins, which helps to resolve malabsorption issues in the body. Alkalizing also disrupts biofilms, helps to kill candida, oxygenates the cells, counteracts acidosis and does a myriad other beneficial jobs besides that will be later described.

* Specifically targeting, neutralizing and removing candida mycotoxins and aflatoxins in the body on a daily basis within the protocol. In the 1980s, Orion Truss identified mycotoxins as dangerous waste products from candida. Many of these dangerous candida mycotoxins are also carcinogenic, the accumulated presence of which in the human body is extremely debilitating for the candida sufferer both mentally and physically and which, as a consequence, tends to greatly lower the immune system's effectiveness.

* Strongly supporting the nutritional and excretory pathways of the body – viz. the intestines, liver and kidneys – to help in reducing the inevitable detox and candida die-off or Herxheimer effects so that the blood is quickly purified and healthy again. This is why a simple but wide-ranging liver support protocol is also included in the main candida protocol.

* Supporting and strengthening the immune system and body terrain with vitamin and mineral nutrients that are always lacking in the Western processed food diet. Candida hates a healthy alkaline body with a fully functioning and strong immune system.

* Strictly following an anti-fungal Diet – No sugar, no fructose, no msg, no chemical sweetners, low carb, keto diet.

For me, getting a bacterial or viral infection doesn't really bother me or scare me as much as becoming infected with a fungus. Any fungal problem will be difficult to cure because, IMHO, fungus is the cleverest pathogenic organism out there and there are still no competent or consistently successful drugs available that can cure any systemic fungal problems. Sure you have Nystatin, Flucanozole, Ketocanazole and all the rest of the Azole drug family. And you've also got Amphotericin B -- this particular drug is only ever used as a last resort whenever you become infected with candida or aspergillus while you are in Stage 3 Hepatitis or Stage 3 cancer or in stage 3 HIV etc and it has some really awful side-effects. And if you use any one of those anti-fungal drugs I've already mentioned against any systemic fungal problem and adopt the take-two-pills-a-day-in-the-morning-and-evening strategy just to kill the fungus that your Doctor will always recommend, then chances are that you won't have done enough to actually cure your systemic fungal problem. And if you use those useless drugs, the likelihood is that you may or may not get rid your systemic fungal problem or, oddly, it just keeps coming back to re-infect you because it was hiding away in your body just waiting for an opportunity to come back again. And the reason you will have failed is because, instead of attacking ALL it's fungal traits and behaviours, supporting the immune system and killing all the other pathogenic co-infections that are also involved(i.e. bacteria, nanobacteria and parasites), you used an easier and more convenient strategy against your systemic candida or systemic aspergillosis problems.

Basically, you will always fail to achieve a cure against any systemic candida/aspergillus problem unless you do more -- Oh so much more! -- than just take a couple of pills a day morning and evening hoping just to "kill the fungus". What about the biofilms that protect the fungus, how do you get rid of those biofilms?; what about the dangerous systemic fungal poisons that drag down your immune system -- you will surely need to neutralize those fungal poisons to bring back and strengthen your immune system won't you?; and what about all the other needed protocols to treat and deal with all the other bacterial and parasitic co-infections that are also certainly possible when your immune system is dragged down -- how do you treat that?

Now hands up please anyone who still believes that taking two pills of whatever every morning and evening just to "kill the the fungus" inside you is enough to cure your systemic fungal infection? Well, either common sense wins or lazy convenience will prevail. It's your choice really.

Bill gave very good information. I would add that I use bleach to clean mildew in the bathroom and to clean mold in other areas of the house like around windows. Bleach is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral.

I also use white towels and white sheets and wash them in detergent and bleach. I let the towels air dry in the bathroom. Studies of the COVID-19 virus have shown that bleach kills coronavirus on surfaces in about five minutes, and isopropyl alcohol destroys it on surfaces even faster, Bill Bryan, a senior official at the US Department of Homeland Security, told reporters Thursday 4/23/2020. Bryan, who is not a scientist, said a US Army biological lab outside Washington, DC had been conducting tests on the virus.

According to The Complete Guide to Symptoms, Illness, and Surgery rinse your mouth hourly with salt water for a tooth abscess. Mix 1/2 teaspoon table salt in 8 oz hot water. Hypertonic saline is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral. You could also sip it. Note: The RDA for sodium for an average adult is 1,300 mg with a tolerable upper limit (UL) intake per day of 2,300 mg. Sodium chloride (table salt) is approximately 40% sodium. One teaspoon of table salt = 2,300 mg sodium. Do not exceed one teaspoon of table salt over the course of a day.

Raw garlic worked very well for me on a tooth abscess. After two days the pain and swelling subsided. I chewed the raw garlic on the bad tooth and left the raw garlic on the tooth. I did this every 4 hours for two days.

Make sure you get enough protein and other nutrients.

Here is a link to a BMI calculator. The midpoint in the normal range for BMI is 21.7. It would be higher for bodybuilders since they have more muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat. Protein builds muscle. Enter your height and keep changing around the weight until you arrive at the ideal BMI for you. For example, my husband is 6 feet tall. His ideal weight would be 190 which is a BMI of 25.8. His BMI is a little high but he works out and has extra muscle mass so 25.8 is ok. Here's the link:

https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm

You can take the information and plug it into the DRI calculator using the ideal weight you would like to be https://www.nal.usda.gov/human-nutrition-and-food-safety/dri-calculator

This gives the suggested amount of calories, nutrients, vitamins and minerals based on your height, weight and activity level.

According to Doug Kaufmann of website

https://knowthecause.com/getting-started/

Chlorophyll in greens (spinach, broccoli, romaine lettuce, kale, etc.) is one of nature's great “detoxifiers”, anti-fungals and anti-mycotics. Knowing what foods fungi need to thrive and eliminating them is important. Some tumors are actually fungus and respond well to anti-fungal foods like lemons, carrots, garlic, coconut oil and wild oregano. Fiber (eg. vegetables, oatmeal, ground flax seed) binds up toxins and eliminate them from the body. Minimizing sugar and carbs is important as well as foods high in fungus like peanuts and corn.
